This is true, although the weather has been quite insane this week, huge thunderstorms and lightning - there was hail the other day!

Hmm well this TV1 stream seems to be not working so perhaps that's the universe telling me to get some shut eye.

I must say though before it died there was some hip and young looking judges on the men's panel.

And yes! When I saw Kostya's name I could only see the M at the start of his surname and I wondered for a moment if Old Man Menshov had returned This second Kostya is awesome though! He's been skating for a long time, if he can stay on the podium this will be a huge moment for him!

Hmm, so Vladimir was with Plushy last season and his jumps were pretty solid, I think he even medalled at a JGP event or something for the first time ever, he and his coach leave and now the jumps have gone all pearshaped again!

What's all that about?! They should have taken a Mishin-vest when they left maybe

The Ladies SP stream was Channel 1. The Men's FS stream is Match! Arena.

And in case anybody is wondering, I am watching LIVE. The Ladies stream I was playing catch-up on died when I was in the middle of Konstantinova's routine. So, since the computer had been on for 8 hours, I decided to re-start it and then join the Men LIVE. There is no hurry yet to find the Ladies SP videos on YouTube.

Mmmm. Strange that they had no commentary for the Ladies but do now for the Men.

I wonder if the Ladies were maybe shown on something similar to the BBC's Red Button channel. And as it's not a "proper channel", they don't bother with commentary (kinda like Eurosport do with the additional streams on the Eurosport Player).

Just a guess.
