I think he would in a normal year.If it were up to me, Zhenya would finish first today.

At least they gave him his deserved 100. If the PCS was just a point closer I'd be completely satisfied given the circumstances.I think he would in a normal year.
But if they think these scores help Petr and Adelia in the international competition, then fine.
He just seems to bring his best over and over in the big eventsIMO this is the best skate Zhenya ever had at nationals.
Pity that the injury happened and had to ditch the 4F/4Lo but he seems to be in a fine shape. He was great in the morning training as well. The 3A was very easy, on of the best ones I've seen from him since juniors.
TBH in men's SP, nothing is surprising. I think biggest surprise is Dikidzhi falling.Apart from 1 and 2, who picked the rest of the top 6 to be in the top 6?
I also wanted to comment a second time on his StSq and axel. Absolutely cosmic energy. He has some of the most impressive jumps this season even if it's for the wrong reasons—the way he holds on and follows through these volatile elements is unique and even aesthetically pleasing.I can't get over Semenenko, the energy, height, perfect expression of music, he must feel so great, these are the type of skates that are why we watch this sport.
