Long-time lurker, first-time poster here. I want to thank all the people that spread positivity in here.

I just want to say I'm so happy to see Evgenia's confidence coming back. Despite the less-than-stellar placement here, I think this represents a mental victory for her. I think she overcame her fear of failing and is ready to believe in herself again.

I'm actually at peace if Zhenya doesn't go to Euros or Worlds... she could use the time to let her body heal and rebuild her mental state. There's also still room for improvement in her skating skills.

Us true Zhenya fans will patiently wait for her return. She absolutely can and will make a comeback, and I believe she can have serious longevity.

For me Liza sitting out makes sense. She still is sick and I think RusFed is worried that she won't recover fast enough for Euros. I think giving Eliza the Universiade spot means they want to give her the chance to go to Worlds

Sofia before Liza was 100% Mishins call. Your stamina does not recover so fast.

I think Zhenya should have gotten a spot for the Universiade. Alina/Liza might not be healthy for Worlds and maybe Zhenya could show she is back in shape by then to be considered for Saitama...

I'm really disappointed she didn't get the Universiade spot. Why would Stasya need to go to both?

Yeah, there is the final of the Russian Cup. I don't know how realistic that is because she would be starting for Sambo and... politicking. I don't know how how they decide what and if she will want to compete there.

For example at one all of Eteri's super juniors competed one of them (Anna) even had to start in juniors because they do not want 3 seniors from the same club...

I don't understand that either. As I said before, 2 years ago they gave their Universiade spots to two completely different sets of skaters... Anna Pogorilaya was a University student back then, but they didn't send her to Universiade, only Worlds...
