A little bit late to the (TSL) party, but I didn't agree with about 90% of what they were saying. Too lazy to talk about all of it now

I hope we'll see Zhenya at least one more time this year ^_^

I know it wasn't with a bad intention, but I think we shouldn't talk about what will happen to the (health) of the juniors or anyone else here. I just don't think that this is the place for it.

As for the negativity in the Russian thread, it can be very toxic and as @Fluture said, if you don't want your blood boiling you probably shouldn't go there and especially post

Challenger is over but there will be locan international comps. Mostly in europe

Sameeeeee. Not giving her Universiade is just straight up evil. Now we cannot see her this season again unless they have a change of heart suddenly assign her to Worlds or she gets invited to WTT.

If Evgenia had stayed, with her injuries, she may only last 1 year before having to retire.
Or become another Yulia Lipnitskaya, Adelina Sotnikova.

When the Olympics ended I believed she had one more year. Now with her new jumps and a focus on her health, I feel optimistic for the future. :thumbsup:

Yep this one. It’s one of the last comps so she has time to prepare and skaters usually receive nice scores there. I’m not scared for her GP spots. I believe she has now 11th SB and I don’t know who below her would get higher scores this year. Especially as 4CC, Euros and Worlds are sticter than Challengers

I think Zhenya can still be part of either the Universiade or the Worlds team, Worlds and Universiade teams usually consist of different skaters. Maybe she will also go to the Russian Cup Final.

I mean, she had 2 big reasons to leave: 1) Her body would be in huge trouble even by 2019 if she stayed with Eteri & 2) She demanded more respect & attention (you can't give enough attention to Zhenya if u have Trusova, Shcherbakova, Alena, Alina and even more future junior skaters). If these 2 conditions exist, you just have to leave for a better options and better quality of life. Even though I agree she would win more until 2020 with Eteri, she would probably have to retire after that.

Yeah reading that forum sometimes is.... painfully hard. I mean, I just spent more than 1h reading about 13+ pages of the same Evgenia nonsense... and I was only away for like 24h.
