Does anyone know where there is a video of Yuzu's 2010 NHK LP? Been searching, but can't find it on YouTube.

Am I right in thinking sales for the Worlds tickets open today? Good luck, anyone who's trying to get them!

yes it is, the very last chance to get something.
I am still holding on to this last string of hope.
But it will only be events based, not all access pass.
It starts at 18:00 JST.

He is great, possibly one of the greatest ever in male figure skating.

Thanks for your tribute clip.

I wonder how many Pooh bears he has collected over his career? Usually it takes like 10 minutes to clear the ice after a Yuzuru performance ;-)

To celebrate my first post here in this fanfest in 2019, I've created a new video!!
It's a collection of Yuzu's best YOLO jumps and layout changes :yahoo:

Thank you for this! :thank: It boggles the mind how he can do this midprogram, some of them complex and horrendously challenging even if they were planned, and still work them in beautifully to the program.

The man is truly the YOLO Lord and Master...

(and a beautiful job you've done too, the background and text and music and everything is great!)

Thank you very much!

I'd like to share some thoughts about this video, since it was an incredibly long and challenging project for me.

It all started in mid August, when someone asked me to do a montage with Yuzu's YOLO jumps. So it was not my own idea actually, but I got totally thrilled and started researching all layout changes that Yuzu has done during his senior career. Boy, that was some marathon...
To my surprise it was way easier to find a proper video source for each program on my list

The next step was probably the hardest: drawing a fitting concept for the video. The music choice was not difficult. I just remembered CiONTU and Yuzu's remastered version of Mission Impossible. Theme and length both fit nicely - okay, I take it.
The problem was: how to explain to the viewers, why Yuzu did what he did in all these programs?
It's always hard (especially for me as a fan) to put errors into a Yuzu-montage... but they are the key reason for his risky and spectacular layout changes, so they had to be included. Especially that heavy fall at COR 2018 was really tough to edit... Without the covering text box and the oval shade the scene was a pain to watch and rewatch and I really thought to leave it out. But retrospectively I feel that it has to be in there. It makes Yuzu's achievement in that free skate extra special.

So this editing was a real rollercoaster of emotions, but it also reminded me of Yuzu's incredible impro talents and fighting spirit. Perhaps even more than any clean skate. I just sat in my chair looking at all these inconspicious miracles he has achieved and I was really happy to be a fan.

It must be said, as far as figure skating vids are concerned Yuzu does have way more online than the rest (even after the recent purge!) which I know I shouldn't gloat over... but I do every time I find a new one.

Yes, I winced, but it's there to show how amazing what he managed to do that day was to people who may not be as expert.

I think with the others you did a good job of it, showing where the original error was and how he YOLO'd for it, and at the same time it was clear how beautifully it fitted in so the average viewer wouldn't have the faintest idea it wasn't the original plan all along...

Thank you very much for great video and your effort :points:

All YOLO jumps are great but my favorite would be 4CC of 2017, H&L ended with 3A. He lost in the competition but I almost forgot about that since I was too excited witnessing H&L like that. I remember Japanese commentators were also excited about that, too.
