Eun-Soo Lim

I'm so impressed with how much Eunsoo has grown in such a short time with Raf - she looks so much improved even from a few weeks ago - her salchow notably is getting better and better

I really wish Eunsoo, Yelim, and Jun didn’t have to do these ranking competitions. They proved themselves on the GP circuit, it should be enough

Same. KSU really expects too much of their skaters especially as Jun is injured and they still force him to compete. It is ridiculous how many competitions Korean skaters have to do.

Eunsoo won the ranking comp! She fell on that salchow again, but otherwise she was clean. She's improving on her salchow so I'm optimistic that she's going to be more consistent with it for future competitions (Nats, 4CC, and very possibly Worlds), and the thing to note here is the fact that she kept her calm even after the fall and didn't let her nerves get to her. Of course this is much of a smaller scale, but consider what happened at NHK after she fell on her 3S. It shows she's growing with every competition she does, I'm very proud of that darling squirtle :luv17:

She also didn't put another 3T, she should just have it in her first jumping passes. And gosh, that salchow is still not looking good but obviously she can land it, hopefully at Nationals she will do it. I can't find protocols but I hope spins levels were fine, same with StSq. Overall good competition though, she still had two clean-ish performances, I'm happy that she won!

Her short program this season has made me weepy and teary each time I've seen it, so ridiculously beautiful. It might be one of my favorite programs I've ever seen.

The +2T+2Lo on her weakest jump... If it works out then it's all for the best, but I'd rather see the combo attached to her flip (that way I can be less nervous). I hope that she and her team can find a layout to stick with before 4CC and Worlds, this is her 5th layout(I think)...

3S with combo? Huh? Gutsy...

When will she skate? Will we get videos? I guess I won‘t be able to watch it live, time zones and all. But I‘ll wish her all the best!!

Icescape Rasu (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBBM6I8aFFYHQ011WUsgoWw) is usually the quickest one to upload videos, and since there isn't a live stream you don't have to be disapoointed about not being able to see it live.

She's skating last on saturday, according to the time table it should be around 2:45 pm (KST). It seems like when you wake up videos will be starting to appear :)

Thanks a lot! :)

I still don’t quite get why she’d put the 2T-2Lo on the Salchow... Her lutz is very good, why not put it on the second one? Or if that‘s a backup in case she misses the first combo, put it on the 3F or 2A or literally any jump that‘s more consistent than the 3S. But I guess she’ll have a good reason for that, so...

Good luck, Eunsoo! :cheer:
