I just watched it. The SP truly gets more beautiful every time I watch it. :luv17: Shame for the little error on the combination but she‘s not far behind from 1st at all!
 
Despite the bobble on her combo I feel like this SP gets stronger with every skate. Her spins are getting better, she relaxes into it just enough to have beautiful positions
 
The mistake on the 3lz-3T was so jarring and unexpected. My heart literally jumped into my throat. Hoping she’ll nail the free skate and bag that gold. 😬
 
Squirtle's bane nerves got to her and she had to settle for silver, but she's going to Worlds anyway. Go be awesome at 4CC and Worlds darling.

I basically answered my own question LOL.
NGL I was scared that she was going to crumble after the mishap but nope the girl held through. I hope she gets some credit on the rotations but what a nerve-wracking time that was.

IDK about y'all but I'm happy with how she's progressing this season. Eunsoo isn't the most consistent but each competition is a a good step forward. I'm also happy that she can finally leave Korea after this. :laugh:
 
Because she didn’t skate clean and she lost a competition that she was heavily favoured to win. This must have been a huge blow to her confidence. It’s terrible.
 
Honestly looking at KSU judges protocols from nationals is mind-boggling. They are so strict and give such low GOEs (they gave 0s like candy for good jumps) and PCs at nationals. Thank God Eunsoo got her place at Worlds, but I am unhappy with some of the scoring she got. I mean giving her 6s and 7s in PCs for her SP. Like what????

On a happy note: her Salchow looked so much better. It had some good height. Yay.

Happy to see her skate at 4CCs and Worlds! Go Eunsoo!!!
 
@Lunalovesskating And then they wonder why their skaters have zero confidence going into international competition.
 
I‘m a fan of Young You (we just need to organise that mass exodus from Colorado) but Eunsoo wuzrobbed. Whatever drugs KSU is on: it is time to share.
 
The thing that worries me the most here was her mindset. She looked defeated before she even stepped on the ice. Her lack of confidence is starting to become more evident and it’s effecting her skating.😢. I really hope she can get back the fire she during her free skate at Rostelecom. She really fought there.
 
That was a pretty low score for what she put out there..

Anyway, it‘s a shame she had that unexpected fall on the 3Lz-3T but she still has her ticket to Worlds this year. It‘s interesting that she decided to put the 2T-2Lo on the flip, even though the landing of the 3S seemed pretty good. It‘s also remarkable that she didn‘t let the mistake in the beginning get to her and performed the rest of the program clean. She seemed a bit tired and hesitant in her interpretation and performance so I do understand a bit lower PCS but THAT low? Nope. :disapp:
