LMAO this was literally my first thought after finding that photo. Of all the days, Shoma... you missed Nathan XD thankfully Marin is there. But him being in Nathan's home rink is pretty cool though! It is where Team Raf trains right?

Yeah, and it's also super neat since Lakewood is also around 30 mins from Honda Center (Like the Toyota Sports Center). I'm very happy and grateful that Shoma can train for 4CC (and get rid of his jetlag lol) there too! XD

Also... at times like these I really relate to Coach Alex because he's totally right, Shoma is like a good weather. His smile in that picture is like a whole sun, so bright and you can't help but smile at him back XD Hoping for more smiles at 4CC (and afterwards of course)!

Aw. I’m pretty surprised about the boot change, I wonder if it’s permanent. I’m going to be superficial for a second and say that imo Risport boots look way better than Edea but hey, if they are more comfortable for Sho and his ankle then these are my new fav boots

I read that the Edea Piano incorporates anti-shock technology to help soften the harsh impact of jump landings (that can have bad long term effect on skaters' ankles, knees, hips, back etc) so anything that can help protect his precious appendages is good in my book XD

Those blade covers with the tiny giraffes are soooo cute! I love that Mr. Sanjeev, the interviewer, just highlighted them in his IG post XD

Cute blade covers are a thing with Shoma huh? I remember the one displayed at the Toyota Museum have tiny wings on them... also very cute.

It's definitely strange, with the EDEA having a distinct design and not seeing the usual black tapes over his Risport boots! At first I thought it was just for the interview/feature with Toyota/Olympic Channel but since Shoma used it also for practice... I guess we'll see more once 4CC pratices start...

Also, I have absolutely no idea how different boots work, so thanks OniBan since this calms me down a little XD
