If Russian Cup Final ends up being her last competition this season, do you guys think she will keep Tosca as her short for next season too? She barely used it this season, and I think it has so much potential to be a beautiful program after more experience skating with it.
Although I also wouldn't mind seeing her start the next season with fresh programs and a fresh mindset, if she keeps this program she can really fine tune it and focus on other things for next season.
Mishap posted of video of Evgenia fine tuning her step sequence for Tosca: https://www.instagram.com/p/BuX3CGCol7F/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=3q68kf9opm4a
I’m glad she’s working on it tbh because in my opinion step sequences are not her greatest strength. I’m fairly confident that she will put out stronger performances over the next three years though and I’m excited to see all aspects of her skating grow (I don’t want to wade into the whole you need a quad or 3A to be competitive argument so don’t @me)
What I love about that video is the filming. It's a completely different experience watching it like that while Misha (or maybe someone else) was basically going around her during that step sequence.
Yes and that type of filming gives the program a real cinematic feel, it would be cool if they did this with a few performances (maybe gala?) in the future.

Yes, unfortunately the haters will go harsh on her, but I really hopes she notices that the support is much bigger that the hate.Ohhh boy, Evgenia's going to get a lot of hate for bumping off Liza.
Hope she can stay focused
