Agree that Sofia is unlikely to place lower than 7th/8th. If she is the top Russian and everyone else (aside from Zhenya and Alina) is clean (and let's say Tursynbaeva has no clean quad) then I imagine Sofia coming in 6th - behind all of the Japanese, Bradie, and Eunsoo. 7th if Tursynbaeva places over her, which depends on the quad.

If Sofia places lower than 7th, it means there is at least one other Russian ahead of her.

Its not about Zhenya beating Rika. It's about giving the best chances for Alina to podium. Zhenya has higher world rankings than Liza. If Rika is not in the final group, her PCS may be lower.

Heard Rika is in the final group now as her standing is higher now than Elizabet since the Challenger Cup.

I don’t know, she quits Canada maybe because she has no money and Orser must be expensive.
 
Where would she go to train if she did leave Canada? Back to her former club? Or maybe move to Plushenko?

It doesn't look like there is a real source in the article (or author). That being said, some of the other related stories do look trustworthy...

OMG, and just a year ago I randomly left some figure skating on my TV because I thought it would be boring enough to help me sleep... Couldn’t be more wrong! Such high-intensity drama, unbelievable. The latest news makes no sense, could anyone from Canada say if the media looks legit?

According to the World standings, it absolutely does. Liza is placed out of top 10, she wouldn't skate in the last group, so she won't get the same boost from the judges as the final 6. Only Zhenya and Alina have that chance. Japanese skaters will get that boost as home skaters, the starting position is not that important for them as for the others.

There’s no way Zhenya is leaving TCC. She turned a corner at Russian Nationals & has a lot of positive momentum right now. She seems to really like and respect both Brian & Tracy.
