My main point was it doesnt make sense Eteri would say "Evgenia ...... up" like what that twitter link claim. Cos Evgenia skated clean, both SP & LP. Clean as in she didnt fall or missed combos, she didnt mess up(cant say the censored word).

Eteri could have been saying "You beat Medvedeva, you got 2nd"
The points between 2nd to 5th was very close, hence the anxiousness esp since Elizabet made a mistake.

her solo 3Lo in the free yesterday was huge and glorious. probably my second favorite in the field right now after kaori’s ( who is very sadly almost always robbed of the +5 across the board she deserves for it. 😡 )

3S3Lo was definitely the best she’s done it in competition so far. not quite up to par with some of the ones she’s cranked out in practice, but i’d chalk that up to her being in pain + nerves. onwards and upwards from here!!
 
Honestly I cannot wait to see the dress Evgenia gets for her new FS. I imagine something white, pink, purpely, maybe cherry blossoms on it. I hope ladudesign makes the dress again. The dresses for Tosca and Libertango were amazing. Even the British Eurosport commentators said they love the FS costume.
 
I watched the NBC Olympics video now. It's actually geoblocked, and after I connected to US server, I saw a bunch of other videos that I don't get to see otherwise, and I was like "oh so this is how the other side lives?!!" hahahaha. Man, even 30 years from now, I'll cry while rewatching that. It was especially hard today since I hadn't seen all of those moments.
But yeah, one thing that I noticed is that the comments under the FS video from yesterday from NBC has much more positive comments compared to the other ones, it's interesting.

Seeing Alina + Zhenya interactions filled my heart :luv17:

Yes, Evgenia jumping a 3Axel is unlikely, but never say never. We have seen that her technique got better and I think once she really managed that transition from the old to the new technique it will get better. Also Ayaka Hosoda managed to learn a 3Axel at 23 after she had already retired and was never a top skater (always placed around 15th at Nationals). Then learned it for fun with Rika Kihira and came back this season at Japanese Nationals and jumped three 3 Axels there.
 
There's a great long interview. Don't have time to provide a summary, but I'm sure someone will translate it soon. She speaks very highly of her coaching team, very heartwarming. Also says that she works with a dietary expert that Brian found for her 👍 there's a lot of talk about her eating habits and how she changed them.
