Evgenia Medvedeva

I am happy about the campaign, but, honestly, I don't like their pictures at all. They photoshopped her so much. I know I am in minority though.

Oh no, I agree, I prefer a more natural look too. Zhenya doesn‘t need any photoshop. But she‘s getting the money, so I can live with it. I really liked the Nike video. It showed lots of different sides from her.

Actually I think you are in the majority ^^
I hate those pictures

I just saw Evgenia walking by Nathan Chen after the men's FS XD

Just wanted to comment the same thing. She congratulated him. I‘m happy for Nathan but I have to admit I wanted Yuzuru to win really badly... for him and the Japanese audience that they can hear their National anthem at least once during those World Championships...

People created so much drama over Evgenia being sad when she lost at the Olympics, and now you can see that Yuzu is even more disappointed, and I bet no one will say anything lol

Probably the added factor of Alina being her training partner at the time helped stirred up the drama. The gossip and chaos around Yuzuru after worlds 2016 when he lost to Javi was over the roof.

hearing her talk openly about her eating habits from the Olympic time is so scary :( i'm so so happy that she's in an environment that nurtures a healthy body and mind and doesn't downplay their importance in competitive sport.

hopefully what she said can open people's minds to how dangerous diets like her Olympic one are, and inspire people to make a positive, healthy change like she did.

i've been thinking a lot about how much of an inspiration Zhenya is and will continue to be for skaters, both younger and older, who can look to her and see her courage in finding a happier lifestyle and that it can pay off, competitively, emotionally, and physcially.

and her going mostly vegan is great! i personally follow a similar diet to what she described (strict vegetarian and mostly dairy free apart from the occasional treat!) and i've never felt healthier. hopefully it works for her too!
