That’s what they said the last 3 years...and still no sweeps at GPF, Europeans or worlds.
If Russia was really so dominant they should have been sweeping all those podiums.
Don't you find six medals of nine possible (and all gold and silver) in those last three years as a sign of dominance? Not to mention twwo previous years with full sweep. Yes, when you have three skaters, there is always a probability, that one stumbles. Airliners have two engines also mainly for the case of failure. I don't know how it will look like ten years from now, but Samkrut was right in that sense that today russian lady has to made serious error in order to somebody other get over her at least in european field.
That’s not logical at all. They shouldn’t need another place as shown at GPF. If they can’t do it with their top 3, a fourth won’t matter.
One can wonder who are those "top 3", the last season it was a question, e. g. should be there Medvedeva or Tuktamysheva, Samodurova or Konstantinova, not to mention how many people doubted about Alina. Top 3 is not matter of a moment.
