Watching Dasha's touching performance, it just warms my heart. Her interpretation is sublime, at a level rarely seen on the JGP circuit. And this can not be taken, she is born with it, and it will always make her stand out. Some of her elements are at an extremely high level of quality, which could help her place above other clean skaters, when these mistakes are not repeated.
Maiia is also growing, and as a late bloomer, it won't be a surprise to see her skating even better in the second half of the season. She has beautiful lines, is very elegant and improved a lot since she is in Eteri's group.
And bringing my thoughts from the competition thread..Overall, both Maiia and Dasha did good until now for their first international season. They are inexperienced, with high pressure on their shoulders, and lots of negativity going towards them, as 13 years old, but yet both with unique styles and expressivness. They have a lot to learn from these competitions going further, of course probably Dasha will get a second assignement, too.
