Aside from the fact that with this layout, a loop combo would be impossible, I think the Sambo 70 team chose not to put one in because Alyona can get higher GOE on other combos. That one time she did a 3Lz+3Lo at a domestic comp in the 2017-18 season, it was a little squirrely. She doesn't snap into rotation the same way that Zagitova and Trusova do and it ended up looking a little clumsy. I'm sure she'd get better at it with practice, but it's not one of her best skills. Better go for the lutz-toe or lutz-euler-salchow and maximize GOE, I think.
I do hope she's able to incorporate a 3A into her programs later in the season, providing that she's healthy. Her 2A somehow looks even bigger and looser in the air before. Watching it, it almost looks like a popped triple. It looks like there should be another rotation in the air because she has so much room for it. Alina looks to be in great form at the moment, so if Alyona wants to win her two GP assignments, she'll have to work a little harder than I initially anticipated, but I do think it's doable. Topping the podium isn't everything, though. I just want her to have a wonderful debut season. I have a feeling everyone is going to just adore her.
