Call the fashion police on me because I am LIVING for Evgenia's bodysuit. The way it elongated her lines on those opening edges was just divine.

Eteri is not Zhenya's coach, it's been over a year now so bring yourself to the present!

Of course, like I said anything is possible. But the odds have increased. Even last season it was a debate between Evgenia and Liza, and Liza was the only one with a 3A. By 2022 given the current skaters, there could be 5, which ups the odds. And of course Alina and Evgena could learn quads as well, so could Kostornaia, Usacheva, etc. That's why I said with the information we have currently. Why is it so difficult to acknowledge that the quadsters have an advantage?

Maybe Evgenia chose the bodysuit and likes it. She is an adult now and should have the right to have input into her costuming. I thought she looked pretty in it but I am normally a fan of dresses..unless you are Vanessa James.

She does. It might not be in her competition programs yet, but we've seen her land one, which is more than we've seen for the non quadstars. I want to make it clear that I'm not saying they'll never have one - again, just with the information we have now.

Given some of the screamingly twee and affected clothes Eteri's girls have been seen in, I doubt her taste is a benchmark of good taste.

Exactly. This suit is making her look fit, and emphasises her lines. This makes me so happy for her, cause I couldn't get into her last season programs. Just to be sure who choreographed this?

If I had to choose between Alina's POTO dress and this catsuit, I'd go for the catsuit, blue pieces and all.
But we know Eteri is playing the system, with calculated programs and pretty-pretty-oh-so-pretty dresses. I am willing to risk seeing few awkward and awful costumes if each year brings something cool and edgy... preferable to slew of girls in typically pretty pretty pretty dresses in girly colors.
(as long as they either show their skates or put tights all the way around them... no kentaur hoofs, please).

Being an apparel totalitarian in her rink, I can imagine Eteri feeling genuinely sick, watching this costume on Evgenia. Like she might would have fainted before the program even started.
But then again she approved Sasha's costume with that little flappy piece "down there". That teeny bit of fabric made that costume "not" in my book, when it was so close to being "hot".
Don't need to be rude to defend Evgenia. Direct your discontent towards the offensive posters here, Eteri didn't said anything about this suit

I like Evgenia's outfit just fine, although the little arm flutters are weirdly reminiscent of Kamila's long program outfit. Given that the music is the same, I guess I shouldn't be bothered or surprised... But I don't love it.
Speaking of outfits, I never like costume changes / "trick" dresses. I couldn't stand Laurine's, though it made sense with the program, of course. I despised Dina Averina's the most -- different sport, same idea. Like with Alina's Black Swan sleeves, it's just an unnecessary frill that I personally find distracting. These competitors (well, certainly Dina, Alina, and Anna) are SO GOOD -- why add distracting gimmicks? Why, even for a second, would you want too give anyone the opportunity to claim that the athlete didn't earn all her performance marks without the aid of props? I just don't understand.
But judging by online comments, I'm greatly outnumbered. I'm sure this will be regarded as progress (or even #progress, sigh), so I will go back to my fuddy-duddy corner of fandom and accept my defeat on this point with only minor muttering.

Why does it matter at all what Eteri would think of her costume? Some of you sound like cult members. The universe does not revolve around her.
