From the looks of their hairstyles, I'd say the photo was taken a while ago, maybe when they did PIW?

Kozuka-kun recently had a hair-cut and now he looks like this,

Definitely not in the last few days, says Detective Tsurara.
Hahaha Thanks, Detective Tsurara!
Yes, thinking about it, it makes sense they went there just after PIW Tokyo in mid-July. What was the restaurant doing, they should have uploaded the picture sooner so we wouldn't get confused
What really amazed me about that picture was how strong Kazuki's arm looks. I mean, compare with this picture, just about a year earlier: https://www.instagram.com/p/B0zrRVNJPAO/?igshid=1u2bcsc5rie4r
The difference is astonishing!
Hahaha I think you have translated this interview before, Tsurara-san! But from a written article rather than the video.Gensan's video:
I see a fan (I mean, air fan, not people fan) is blowing his hair, it must have been super-hot there both on the podium and the rink.
Maybe the ice condition wasn't good enough for 3As either, packed with so many heated fans melting the ice! (Just reminded me what was said to have happened at Saitama Worlds.)
Why am I feeling like deja-vu with this interview...?!
It does look like it was extremely hot in there! Those poor boys were sweating...
About the axels, I think it was a mixture of things: the ice condition was probably not ideal, also his lack of stamina and I also wonder if he's having difficulties to control his axel now that he has more strength/power in his jumps. Especially in the free, I thought his axels looked bigger than before and that could affect his control when doing combos. But hopefully as the season progresses he will get used to it and find his axel groove again
