2019-20 Russian Ladies' Figure Skating

Obviously he will get more than 105 of TES without falling, here the real question is whether she will achieve 110 of TES with a clean skating...
Sasha already tried to reach the milestone with a relatively clean skate, with no crashes and deductions. The ISU board stoped her short.
In her 1sr GP stage it looked like the judges were simply fed enough. 100.20 was like:
- Take your candy, little girl, and don't mess under the foot. We saw enough...

Apparently the ISU Board simply dislikes her personality. Alyona and Anna are more lucky.

Her first try had no falls but some of her jumps had messy landings

At SC after the fall everything else was clean

Everyone says she's improved. I ask you to explain her improvements.

I have realized that I am not an expert and do not understand much. I don't see how Tennel has improved (forgive me Scott512, but I have to be honest). I believe that when she stopped to do 3Lz+3Lo she made step ago and refused chance enter in elite. Decided be figure skater average level.
I don't see any improvement in Bell. She's been skating the same thing all her life. Now she stopped falling. Happy for her.

On the other hand, Rika and You try to catch the same train with the best Russian girls and Alice. I respect them for that.
On the third hand, I like Satoko and Kaori. I will gladly watch them while they wait for mistakes from the best.

You're talking about the problems with the 2A from Eteri. Who did you have in mind? The Olympic champion, the world champion among juniors or the champion of Russia? Give examples of the ideal 2A. I'll tell you... Sonya Akatyeva is the best in the world.

You are forgiven. ;)

I am not a big Bradie fan. But I prefer Bradie Tennell to Tom Brady. ;) According to the judge's she has improved a lot this season as has Mariah Bell. It's not really enough to get them to surpass 4A but they proved if you keep plugging along good things can happen. Which is why I want the Russian ladies C team to not give up. Or the Russian ladies B team for that matter. Liza is a perfect example of not giving up.

On a side note and this is for anyone with input. I still can't believe Liza did not make the 2018 Olympic team with her triple axel. What happened? if you see how she has skated the last year-and-a-half post-olympics it's much better than anything Maria produced. So what the heck happened to Liza that Olympic season? that was her golden opportunity to make the Olympic team with three spots open to the Russians.

Wow just another day at Team Tut. Eteri's not gonna hand over that 3rd JWC spot to Sinitsyna without a fight...

JRusNats could be such as big of a bloodbath as seniors...

Maiia is quite inconsistent though, the 4S is looking promising but landing things like that in competition is a different story.

I hope she is also working on her consistency, she will need it to stay up there with the other Russian Juniors.

Liza seems to be unlucky when it comes to Olympic seasons.

Long before Sochi she was considered one of the upcoming Russians who could make it there... she had a bit of a disaster and placed 10th at 2014 Nationals.

After her victorious 2015 season she declined again and was only 7th at 2018 Nationals.

Then she has a come back again post Olympic season!

Anything can happen. A big jumper might fall and negate her advantage, as happened to Rika Kihira last year.

Still, going with the odds... Alexandra Trusova can score 100 points in TES even with a fall.

She can score high because her body has not matured yet, same for Anna and Alena. I noticed that seniors sometimes struggle in their second year. And yes anything can happen in 2018 Katlyn Osmond was the surprising winner at worlds when everybody was expecting Alina to win. Wakaba changed her costume after her performance then she had to change again to receive her silver medal :)

A strange relationship between Ksenia and Moiseeva 3:20 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SRxbqbAAoI&feature=youtu.be
And such a love for Shabotova https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXdvSIN-Ygw

What's going on there?
Maybe Ksenia wants to take a step in the other direction.....?
Panova needs to take action.

She was probably disappointed and mad for the costly mistake in the combo. The whole program looked a bit tentative actually even compared to Shabotova.

With a clean skate in the free she can still win this or at least finish in second place.

We don't know anything for sure, but it looks like Kseniia was just upset with her skate, didn't want to get her scores in the Kiss and Cry, and Moiseeva was just teaching her good manners/life skills by making her go despite her disappointment. It doesn't seem like that big of a deal, or that Panova has anything troubling to manage with Kseniia. She refused to go at first, Moiseeva said something to her, and then she listened and went. If anything, action has already been taken.

She's a 15-year-old who came off the ice upset with her skate. Trying to go in the other direction and then complying and following her coach...really isn't the worst that she could do.
