Hi everyone! I'm huge fan of Zhenya and I'm reading this thread quite often . The weekend was amazing and can not stop admiring the great talent and spirit Zhenya is showing. Like Alexey Urmanov said in his recent interview " there are stories, reading which, you don’t want to close the book. " :) She is a real inspiration and a true legend!

I've been thinking about something lately. I know Evgenia's said how badly she wants to win the Olympics, but even if she doesn't, I don't think it'll make her any less of a legend or any less of a champion. My mind immediately goes to Michelle Kwan - she never won Olympic gold, but she's still gone down in history as one of, if not THE, greatest figure skater of all time.
 
It's already Zhenya's birthday Moscow time.

Evgenia is already a legend in the sport as far as I'm concerned. She was basically the first dominant ET girl. She (along with Yulia, and of course others that came before them, but especially Zhenya) pioneered a new era of ladies skating. Won everything in juniors, won everything in seniors... TWICE, three World medals- 2 of them gold, Olympic Silver Medalist, etc. She has the iconic programs already, she has a legendary story around her, and she continues to write her legacy :love:

I congratulate Zhenya on her 20th birthday. I wish her good health, good mood and true friends nearby. Stay beautiful and happy.

Haha I had a similar idea to the video posted earlier. I made a morph slideshow of some of my favorite moments throughout Zhenya's life (ft. some baby Zhenya at the beginning). I also made a much longer version here.
