I do think M/G can eventually challenge B/K, but B/K have competed really well so far, they have more speed and flow in and out of elements, and the judges seem to love them now. In comparison, even with a fairly easier path to the final, M/G were dealt a bad hand in this GP season. They had problems in one program per GP, nothing to say about that, but in Japan they received very low marks all around, especially in the TES. I knew PCS was going to be a problem, but the low GOEs surprised me. Hopefully they can do a clean competition at the GPF and gain some good marks there. They have the goods to finish on the podium, for sure. It will be important for the evolution of their scores, but RN is the competition to do good at.
The GPF will also be the another battle for the #3 on the team, because I don't see T/M out of contention. P/K and M/G will fight for that spot.
