Some parts of my post my sound defeatist, so skip it if you don't want to read that sort of thing.
This is why I was lamenting earlier about him being alone, I just didn't want to see him looking defeated. It certainly wasn't as harrowing as the times he was dealing with injury, but it made me sad.
Actually, I've kind of relaxed now... because I don't expect him to win. Could he? He absolutely could, and I would be screaming my fool head off if that happens. But it's been a long time since Nathan had a bad enough FS to be 13 points behind his nearest competitor and I don't really wish that on him. What I do wish, is for a clean Origin and a happy Yuzu. And I EXPECT him to remain injury-free and come back fighting. He was really focused and mature during his practices and is pacing himself well, even without coaches.
BUT PLEASE, LET GHISLAIN BE HERE SATURDAY.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go find some .gifs of that 3A and the step sequence because the rest of that program was STUNNING.
