Just curious, and I hope it isn't rude to ask...is Zhenya on good terms with her father? I never have heard her mention him in any way. I do hope they're okay.

During the Olympics he gave an interview. He said that they keep in contact and have warm feelings for each other, but Zhenya was raised by her mom and grandma since she was little. He cheered for Zhenya during the Olympics.
That is all we know of their relationship afaik. I don't think I ever saw Zhenya talking about their relationship. So we only have his interview

I think I read that interview. He said he sent a message to her daughter before her performance at the olympics games to wish her good luck ... And that the change of her surname was with his consent. Apparently the press wanted to know why Zhenya had changed her surname when she was a child.

So she did change her surname when she was young? That makes a lot more sense. The way its stated on wikipedia was always so confusing to me. Of course it's none of our business but I was always like :scratch3: about it :laugh:
 
Have you guys seen the latest drama in Team Tutberidze vs. TAT and Plushenko? I just can't believe all this drama because a seventeen year-old girl decides she wants to take a break.
 
Phone cases and small accessories, those are excellent for starting your own design line.

But Yevgeniya probably needs to copyright her signature mark or trademark her name so the merch remains exclusive.

The web shop seems to be down for maintenance, but those T-shirts with her skating, does she look slightly angry but very determined on them?
 
Looks like the fanpages were faster with the announcement than Zhenya herself, I saw some of the stuff on Instagram though before the post was deleted. So cute! Though I feel like the design targets a younger audience (here I am feeling old at 25 lol), I don't think I'd wear it on a shirt. But the phone case will be mine! (Watch me buy a shirt anyway because I want to support her. :laugh:)
