Yeah, pretty sure it's Risport.


In other news, I've rewatched her beautiful Gala performance multiple times to make myself feel slightly better about all of this. And it worked a bit. She's just magic.

Well, given the beating and pummelling Trusova's Risport's take, it seemes like a good choice for a more sturdy boot. Tuktamysheva is also on Risport to go by the ombre colour.

Any idea which model and how the weight differs from the previous Edea's? A higher weight can perhaps be compensated by going for those thin ultra light blades many of the men use.

Yevgeniya has plenty of time to adapt to a weight/balance difference now.

I read it’s Risport Royal Pro, but not sure if it’s true. I’m not gonna lie, but I miss Edea Pianos, they were the prettiest to me [emoji85] But of course it’s what works best for Evgenia :) Good luck with new skates!

What we do not know is if she stays with risport now or if they had not had any edea and she took them because she needs new boots for her show

That’s true, maybe she got them for the sake of the show. Let’s see what happens when she’s back in Canada, training and preparing for next season

Perhaps. TCC will make sure to get the message to Edea, and perhaps Edea itself has already requested the Piano's to be returned for inspection. To find out wether it is a design flaw or failure in quality control is in everybody's interest for this mishap is bad for their reputation.
 
When I looked at Evgenia’s story, her skates look shiny, while Risports Royal Pro are not like that, at least on the pictures that I googled. Their stiffness is 65 while Pianos had 95, isn’t a huge difference for a skater?

You mean the ice flys right? By the way does anyone know why exactly she changed from the pianos to the ice flys.?

My bad, sorry.

Stiffest boots are for doing triksels and quads, but are not necessary for the show performances. Even Moscow's top Figurist store doesn't have > $500 boots in all sizes in stock and has to order customs directly from the manufacturer after the necessary 3D foot scan and sole cast have been done?

Piano's are Rbl 40000, which is USD 650 !
Ice Fly's are Rbl 33000, which is USD 535 !

There even are 40000 Rbl blades available, but I haven't seen those ultra thin black blades Chen and Hanyu ride on.
 
From thedescripton I got when I googled those royal pro boots it says the she would be good for doubles and the first triples so for me as someone who doesnt know that much about boots it would seem that this is also not exactly the boot zhenya would need for competitions so I guess if it is the royal pro it will be for the shows.

I also don’t think that with such pricy boots you walk in the store and walk out with your purchase already. Sure they have to be properly adjusted. So Risports really must be for the show and the proper boots for training etc must be ordered. I’m wondering which ones she will choose :)
