That's why I compared them at GPF, when both had a fall and other mistakes. It's comparable. Anna was scored 3,20 higher. That's the only international competition we have seen this year with both of them.
At Rusnats Anna had +4,58 in PCS in the free, but Sasha wasn't clean. Had she been clean I think they might have raised her PCS with 1 maybe 2 points, but I think Anna would still have been ahead.
And in the short when both were clean Anna had +1,24 over Sasha in PCS. That can be translated to at least a +3-4 point advantage in the long.
Anna has the PCS edge now. But I agree Sasha's PCS will probably rise at Europeans and Worlds...but so will Anna's.
Only 1 more point in PCS for not falling on two quads and popping another quad? Really?
Let’s wait and see what each of their PCS looks like once Sasha has a clean skate and also gets her inevitable PCS boost like Anna has so far. Then we will see what needs to happen for them to beat one another.
Looking at Sasha’s PCS right now is pointless since we have not seen her perform anywhere near her best, which leaves a negative impression on the judges who won’t give her a much higher PCS until she does.
And 1-2 points more was generous of me.
for sure world's. I don't really care which one of them wins Europeans. But Anna Ballerina is really growing on me. Something about her just seems perfect. Maybe it's her poise and demeanor. She would make a perfect ballerina that's for sure. As for Sasha I'm hoping she pulls back a little bit in 2020 and plays it a little safer with her free skate. But I don't know if that's in her DNA.
