Maybe Zhenya is planning to re-use her short program from this season. I think she only skated it about five times. That would save time and money. She wouldn’t have to pay for new choreography or a new dress. Plus, that program is a really good program for her and I feel like it never reached its full scoring potential this season.

Zhenya seems like a fast learner with choreography though, so maybe she is getting two new programs.

I think she will probably get two new ones. Zhenya has never repeated a program, she probably wants something new each season. She did not even repeat Tosca. Maybe she will get new choreo from Averbukh during the time she is in Moscow this month. She did the same last year when she was in Moscow in April for her Nike event.

Probably end of January or beginning of February, the last training is on the 29th.

Her new long program, I think might be Jeffrey Buttle. And a new short will probably be Auerbukh.

What I'm mostly sad about is probably never seeing those 2 beautiful programs ever again. I am so so sad about it. After seeing the SP at Rostelecom I thought "these moments will stay with me forever, even if she never skates like this again", and knowing that I'll never see these again is really disappointing. I miss her a lot. Thankfully we've been getting a lot of content with the show. She's just so talented.

I also like how Ted commented on the young girl in the front row, her eyes shining with excitement and expectation, waving two high gloss photographs of Yevgeniya at the start of the Channel One broadcast of Russian Nationals FP. That girl, photos and marker in her hands, must have been quite disappointed Yegveniya was unable to compete that day.

Hopefully, she got her photos autographed and will be inspired to do her best in figure skating, to become as good as Yevgeniya or any other figure skater.
