Yuzuru Hanyu: 2019-2021

Briand Gislain confirmed that Yuzu have chosen both programs by himself after the Nationals. He's aiming to win WC, that's when we shall see Seimei completed with 4A. Yuzu worked with SLB on brushing choreo in January. Current layout on 4CC for FS will include 4Lz, 4S and two 4T.
He's been skating both Origin and Otonal for so long out of deep respect to his both idols. Even so he couldn't make those programs of his own. Coming back to Seimei and Chopin he wanted to have the music that comes from within, overflows with his personality.
 
And just 4 quads? :confused:

Unless they're just not mentioning the fifth... You know what I'm thinking about...

I'm pretty surprised, it means he's not upping his content at all this time then, and what is he planning for Worlds exactly? To add 5 quads PLUS the 4A on the same day??

In an interview after GPF, Yuzuru did say he did not think the 4A will be ready at 4CC. He intends to do the 4A at WC, provided he successfully lands it in practice 1st.
 
It's great Ghislain spoke at the airport before Yuzuru arrives, I hope Yuzuru will be able to go to hotel straight. I am still looking forward to his own words, but I can wait :)

Perhaps he wants to see how high he can come GOE wise this time with 4 quads to learn if 5 quads are necessary. I am intrigued too.
 
But debuting the 4A and putting 5 quads all at Worlds seems too exhausting as Yuzuru has said 4A drains a lot of energy. Maybe he’ll see how things go here and possibly do a four quads layout without repeating any of them?
 
I'm so nervous and quite full of anxiety. Not only because 4CC is close and Yuzu switching his programs again...my exam is so close. All the circumstances weren't really great for me. It's loud where I live because of different reasons. It exhausts me and I can't properly sleep at night and also studying at home is hard but I did my very best so I still hope Yuzu performing on Friday is like a lucky charm for me and everything will be just fine. I'll cross my finger for both of us so we can succeed ^^. #UpAgain
 
I admit, I regret not seeing the platonic Origin, and yeah, the sniping and sneering is nothing new. But I love Seimei, and to me - and it appears millions of his fans - there's more diversity and depth in just one of his programs than most skaters manage doing they did different programs every season all their lives.

Having reading your posts, I think you must be really hard working student like Yuzuru :) Please take care and good luck on your exam.
 
I can understand that he is testing the water with 4cc, on how he will be scored. I know it shouldn't matter whether they are repeated program or not, but I am guessing he is also testing that here, whether in some way, subconsciously or consciously, if he will be somehow dinged for it.

I have to admit that I am anxious for him after the decision was announced; I do not want him to have to weather any kind of negativity that is bound to sprung up. However I am happy that he is making his own decisions and taking control of his own skating life.

Final thought: everyone please stay vigilant and stay safe! I hope those of you who are going to Korea, and all the participants involved with 4cc stay healthy! :pray:
