I don‘t think she‘d announce it as broadly if it was simply about a competition. Idk, I‘m just scared. I can‘t imagine retirement, she always seemed so sure about her dream. But what if the weird judging and what happened at RusNats made her rethink everything? I‘m just worried.

I don’t think it’s retirement. She’s been in such a roll with improving her technique this season, I don’t think she’d want to stop. If anything, I hope it’s a new sponsorship or creative project she’s working on. Maybe a clothing line with Nike? Or a new line with a new sponsor? She’s so creative, not only in her skating, so I think it’s something exciting and new!

Yes, 9 pm in Tokyo is 7 am in Toronto, so I guess she can be tired.
