I agree with all of you about her posting on Instagram. I really don't understand what's the matter with people, she can't catch a break.

I have a big drawing from lcrossart in my room (one of the very first ones he did of Zhenya - her Olympic SP) and everyone who enters it, sees the massive drawing and asks about it, will promptly get a whole presentation of “Evgenia Medvedeva, the one and only“, whether they wanted it or not.

I adored the photos with her dog and so many more ... It’s a pity that she feels that she has to eliminate that little piece of her personal life that she shares to the public in exchange for trying to get some peace. If there's one thing I like Zhenya besides her skating, it's because she's genuine. The intimidation she has suffered in the last two years is very unfair.

We also don’t know if this is only her decision or if she is also advised by other people such as her agent, her mother or her coaches.

On the other hand, I read an article that says that starting today, professional sports training facilities will be allowed to reopen in Ontario. So I hope Zhenya could return to Canada as soon as possible.

The new ISU rules may be a blessing in disguise for Zhenya. The BV difference between 3Lo and 3Lz is 0.4 now instead of 1 full point. She now has less of a disadvantage in the short program. Lol

And now 3F and 3Lz has the same BV:5:30

I would like she gets a 3F3Lo combo. Although her 3F3T is really good.

I’m not thrilled about the rule change because there is good reason for the lutz having a higher BV. But I am extremely happy that Evgenia can now have a layout with way less emphasis on doing two lutzes that just end up getting an edge call and not so great GOE anyway. I think we will see some really positive improvements in her score as a result of this rule change!

I only hope they will apply it so there are fair scores...

I wish that too, but I don't have that much hope. I think the judges will continue to be blind to some skaters and unfair to others.

Guys, I will miss MOAG. It's such a great program, it's truly my favourite program (well, Anna Karenina is but it's too painful to watch it). I lowkey want her to keep the program ahah

But I'd like her to lose the dark gloves
