How can it be that Eteri's and Plushenko's groups are at training camps since weeks and in St Petersburg they are still waiting for permission from the government ?

yes, it seems unfair, but he had chance to start training, but Mishin refused, if you remember ..

Also, the rinks in St. Petersburg stayed open later than the rinks in Moscow, so they’re not that behind from a “time off” perspective.

This is understandable. Plushenko and Eteri are much younger, and thus less vulnerable to severe cases of covid, than Mishin.

Was it really Mishin's age that really prevented his skaters from starting to train? If age was purely the reason it seems strange that there was no one of a less vulnerable age that could have managed their skaters for a couple of weeks

So of the senior national team, based on what I've read here below is the status of the skaters. Anyone know what's going on with Medvedeva or Sinitsyna? Last I remember seeing anything of Medvedeva was that she was in Japan and not training.

Alina Zagitova - at training camp
Aliona Kostornaia - at training camp
Evgenia Medvedeva
Alexandra Trusova - at training camp
Elizaveta Tuktamysheva - Not training yet
Anna Shcherbakova - at training camp

In reserve:
Anastasia Gulyakova - Not training yet
Sofia Samodurova - Not training yet
Ksenia Sinitsyna

Nastya Tarakanova posted a video on her Instagram a couple days ago (I think on her story) of her stepping onto the ice for the first time, so maybe that means Snow Leopards are training again, which would mean Sinitsyna would be just getting back on the ice.

She had some of the best programs and skated with some of the most fire of any skater of this era. I’m about to Yeet myself off a building just thinking about it.

I feel this  I'll never forget her amazing first junior season. Her programs were perfectly suited to her. She skated with so much passion and no fear at all. Ugh, she was so special.

Yeah it's like the season hasn't even started, and you can tell already where this is going lol

Jesus Christ, not this again...
Mishin was offered the same opportunity to go to an isolated training camp, he himself rejected it.

Isolated camps are far from any cities and are different from regular ice rinks within cities, that’s quite obvious isn’t it?

He's not the only one in this situation and he could have still sent Artur Gachinski, Tataurov instructing them via Zoom/Skype/... on the work schedule.

Did the coach of Nastya G1 and Little Liza and Aliev take his St. Petersburg based team to an isolated location so they don't fall too far behind? Nastya and Liza always seem to be behind the eight-ball and if they aren't skating now while their competition is that's really bad.

Aliev is definitely training, I don’t know about Nastia and Liza.

One should rename the thread. "2020-21 Russian Ladies Fortune Telling" or something like that. Or one open the thread "2020-21 Russian Ladies Team Fan Fighting Arena".

Where? If he is training they should be training since they are with the same coach and the same team in the same city.

Thank you as per usual for the information you supply us.
