Who is the programme for, does he say? (I am amused by the potential irony of the refrain, if he intends it for one of the girls who has transferred to his school over this off season.)

I don't know if Trusova is capable of performing at that level, but i could see Konstantinova maybe.

Yeah, I agree, the choreography that Plushenko posted was slow and mature, kind of Carolina Kostner like, I can't really imagine Sasha performing to that, but then again, why would he post Konstantinova's program on Sasha's birthday??

He was joking I guess..and he wants to annoy his haters  But probably it is for him he likes the passionated music and movements..those are his poses, you know ;)

Sasha told in a recent interview that one of her programs will have slow music because she likes that. And I do think that she would be capable of performing it well.

For me personally it was Plushenko level haha. I don't think anyone he's coaching would be able to bring that command without a ton of training.

I see basic turns and arm movements. But I don t know much about artistry and choreography. This things are for the experts.

According to Mishin and Morozov he learns choreography incredible quickly..and we could see he very often improvises to different musics

What level is that exactly? Maybe it is for Panenkova?

I have never seen that intensity in the choreography from Panenkova. Shame she basically had to retire so early for reasons to this day i still struggle to understand.

When I watched the choreography I was thinking of Sotnikova. This seems like the exact thing she‘d skate to, including the dramatic pulling of the shirt. I still remember that first iteration of one of her programs where she was literally throwing herself at the judges as her ending pose. I know she’s retired so the program isn’t for her. But I have trouble thinking of anyone who‘d be able to pull that kind of choreo off without looking like a fool. Konstantinova maybe - but even that is a stretch. I totally can‘t see Trusova doing it with any sort of conviction. But then again, I can‘t see Shcherbakova or Kostornaya doing it without looking silly either.

I hope it‘s not for Trusova. She said one of her programs will be to slow music and that‘s fine - it will be good for her to challenge herself artistically. I think she’s capable of a lot more than she’s shown so far! But if this really is her program (which we still, obviously, don’t know), it just screams like too much too soon instead of a more gradual growth. It didn‘t work when Medvedeva and her coaches tried it with Orange Colored Sky, I cannot see it working here either.

But at any rate: Happy Birthday to Sasha! :)

Why not for himself? Longevity is the goal.

 Plushenko has a way of making every pose and movement seem like he is doing something amazing, dramatic and suspensful.

He is like a Dostoevsky novel. He makes you think something incredible has just happened, or is about to happen -- or is happening right now before your very eyes.

It's one of those things that can't be taught I guess. He just "knows". I wasn't a fan of his programs, but his command, though, wow.
