Recycling pop cans

Where is the best place to take aluminum cans for money exchange? I've been collecting this month and don't know where to take them. I did it when I was younger, and took them to an area restaurant, but now I'm not sure.

I don't know where you live, but here in my neck of the woods - New Westminster, BC there are special recycling places for pop cans etc. Also most super markets - like Safeway will take them. Only they limit the amount you can take in one haul. The recycling places will take as many as you have at once. I am sure you should be able to find a recycling place where you live.

Same here. Most in the area just let the Disposal service do it, but there is some money in it. Why give them the money for recycling aAND pay them to pick it up.

Here in Connecticut, we take the bottles and cans to some supermarkets. I don't know if you have Stop & Shop in Canada.

Oddly enough, I don't usually drink anything that needs to be recycled. I don't drink soda or beer at home.
