She looks great so i dont get what you starla see because i and i think others dont see it, she was always the one withthemore mature body, the one that we could see would get beautiful womanly curves . She grew a bit, but she didnt really put on weight mabye athiny little bit but thats not really abad thing What you are saying is close to bodyshaming, just ebcause she grows i toa more womanly body and may have got 1 or 2 kilos more , which i find good because seriously you cant expect a 17 year old to have the weight of a 14 year old. Bodys change and there is nothing bad about it.

That is her in training, she looks great

What's wrong with Alena? She just looks like she's not wearing makeup.
Nothing iswrong just one person finding that she basically has too much weight so in said persons mind apparently that means she is not fit and should get advise from liza tuktik how to stay fit. From what i see of her training fotos aljona is fit, she looks good, and happy , and looks to have gotten a bit more flexible even.

She has a weird smile for photos, in which she looks tired and older, that I should say. But her natural smile is as beautiful as it could be. Anatomically and medically speaking, Aliona’s always had some dark circles because of alergies. It’s not like the skin is darkened, but she has loss of tissue around her eyes due to bad blood flow caused by alergies. She has the typical face of a child who grew up having rhinitis. Absolutely normal and I actually think it’s quite charming. Aliona is stunning, and I can’t even feel jealous when I make my boyfriend watch FS with me and he calls her (because he doesn’t remember the skaters’s names) “the prettiest among those 3 little girls”.

Scott512 not because She changed coaches, that’s irrelevant to me. These are top athletes they can adjust to whatever change. It’s just my feeling that she had 2-3 Good seasons in a row and now I think she would have an average.

I sure hope you're wrong about aliona having an average season. I would be shocked. Plus the evil angel is going to be breathing fire this season whatever this season is to prove to everyone that she's still as great as she was with TT.

I hope she wins the Olympics!
And I have to say that Russians went crazy after her new picture with Rozanov was posted today. I read more than a thousand comments about their picture written in Russian. That she went to Plushenko Academy because of her personal life. :D

Wtf? Are they suggesting.... um... what?
Jesus Christ.

Oh my gosh, I saw so many comments shipping them together 🙄🙄. It's like Danil and Alina all over again... Some people just can't stop crossing boundaries.

To me this is nonsense to change your career because of a good-looking jump coach. Nyet to that. I have no doubt that these kids get very fond of their coaches. Kind of like students and their teachers in the classroom. But young Sergei is in his early thirties and aliona is only in her mid-teens. That ain't going to work even in modern day Russia. Rozanov went to Plushenko Academy for greater coaching responsibilities and to make himself a truly prominent coach in figure skating. I am sure he's focusing on that and not a girlfriend. If he has one she's probably in her mid-twenties at the youngest. I am only interested to see if he can help aliona get her triple axel back to being the best in the world! :)

Didn't Nastya T go into roller skating?

There were photos and videos of her training with the Russian roller skating team. I was curious from Happy Skates post, that link was to Tarakanova's instagram page, which still shows in the description as a "figure skater" and there was this post (translated via Google Translate) that was posted 2 weeks ago. So it seems like she is sticking with figure skating, not sure what was going on with the roller skating thing.

Working with heritage is part of my professional career.

As before, I promise to do everything in my power to please you with my new programs. The dream never leaves me to leave my mark on the history of figure skating. Do something significant to become an example for future generations of skaters.

I know that there will be many more difficulties on my way, but today I am more than ever inspired and boldly look into the future, I am delighted to take part in a new project@reebok # SozdaySvoeNasledie

I guess shes still in play after a terrible season. Didnt even finish the Russian Cup final. But time is still on Nastyas side. Problem is so many tough girls to compete with in Russia alone.

Nikita Mihailov really excited me with his mentionimg choreographing Sonya's LP
Promises it will be the bomb:love:
super excited:yahoo:
whole interview

Kostornia what happened to her , was she injured ? she does not look fit.
This season will be a huge struggle for her with such a disaster growing pain with that look  :roll5:, at least with Tutberidze she kept her in check !!

Looks like Med has a chance along with Trusova and Scherbakova
Kortornaia better get that in check, she needs to remember being lean, fit is very important in figure skating just look at what happened to Gracie Gold's career.

huh? :scratch2:

she looks the same as she did last season.

Puma and Shiseido are huge corporations, with a huge legal team, they deal with many contracts, I'm sure any detail is in Alina's contract, I don't think any athlete can fool them. I don't exactly remember but I read a Puma interview where they were talking about Alina's kpi increasing, it's undeniable camera loves Alina's face, if she wanted she can have a career in publicity, you can see it, with the puma yoga advertising with Alina, it's around the world, not only in the Russian market, also I remember the words of Shiseido CEO, he watched Alina in the olimpic FS and immediately knew, she was the perfect face for Shiseido.

Fool them no, but a clever coach can come up with something that will comply with the terms of the contract to keep sponsor money coming in. There were athletics coaches in the USA this summer that had athletes whose contracts would say 'must compete in three meets in 2020' so they would find a local track, hire some officials for the day, and then file the paperwork with saying that three would be three meets held on, say, July 26. So the athlete group would have the first meet at 10:00am, the second meet at 2:00pm and the third meet at 5:00pm.

There were actually some fast times coming out of those meetings- typically the first meet was the 'good one' where a number of athletes put up times on the world leaders list and then they'd job their second and third races in off events at meets two and three.

I haven't been keeping up with this thread, so apologies if this has been discussed already. I was looking at the list of preliminary participants for the Moscow Jr Championships shared in the Russian Men's thread, which is organized by sports school/club, and I noticed that Adelia Petrosyan is listed with the "Sports School of the Olympic Reserve "Moskvich". Does anyone know what that's about?

Kamila was also listed under that school before her name was removed, and she's definitely still with Sambo 70. So maybe it's their old school or just a glitch.
