I haven‘t and fear I never will get used to it. I will miss the SP tomorrow because of work but I‘m free on Sunday and already debating with myself whether I should watch live or not. :laugh:

Yes, definitely. With so many withdrawals and injuries, I fear every day that we‘ll hear the news that something happened to Zhenya too. We can be grateful for even seeing her on the ice. I don‘t expect her to be in great shape yet and think there‘ll be quite a few technical mistakes we‘ll have to be prepare for, but I‘m just so excited to see her new programs. Let everything work out. :pray:
 
I totally thought test skates were next week and have not mentally prepared myself for this at all...!!

I'm just so excited to see her new choreo, especially the free with Shae, because every season she just seems to get better and better.

Anyone think we'll see anything new in terms of combos or do you think it's too soon for anything like that to be unveiled? I'm hoping for another -Lo combo myself (3fl3lo pls!!) :luv17:

Agree! The last part is so important. Zhenya will go down as an ICON and pioneer in figure skating, especially Russian ladies figure skating, and we have the absolute luxury and honor to be able to support her in real time. That's special. I'm so excited to see her new programs!
 
I wonder who we’ll see at the boards with Zhenya though... I suspect TAT will be commentating or part of the feedback board, so I don’t think she’d be able to be with Zhenya before and after she skates... maybe Buyanova? I hope Zhenya won’t need to warm up alone 🙁
 
I‘m on my break right now and keep thinking of Zhenya. I can see it already - not being able to constantly refresh the thread to find out news will make everything even more stressful. :laugh:

That would be sad. :( I too think TAT‘s commentating but hopefully Buyanova will accompany Zhenya... I miss Brian and Tracy...
