Less nerves for them. Plus the Russian king of beauty Sergei Rozanov cannot be present at two different places at the same time.Remember when Plush said that Sasha and Alyona had no problems training with each other or anyone else? I guess it wasn't true after all.![]()

He doesn't have to. According to rumours, Sasha doesn't even speak to him anymore. But that's okay, I don't think Sasha loses anything for not having him as one of her coaches. She seems to be doing well with Plush, Elena and Mikhailov.Less nerves for them. Plus the Russian king of beauty Sergei Rozanov cannot be present at two different places at the same time.
Sasha? Aliona? Anna?
Amateurs! I don‘t understand a word of Russian but I‘d have been able to answer that question correctly.![]()

And according to your logic, Nika should thank Roznov, not Plushenko, lmaoSo, it's not Plushnko's success. He is a successful skater with little coaching experience. Why do you guys deny the truth?
Again, I'm not disgracing him

I don't think they adapted anything. Plush said that to contradict Eteri's IG post about Aliona, but Sasha and Aliona trained separately since the beginnning. Anyway, I agree it's probably better for them this way.Or - imagine that! - feelings and situations can change and Plushenko and his team adapted when they saw that two highly driven teenage girls in a highly competitive sport weren‘t comfortable training next to each other anymore. Aliona and Sasha interacted normally at test skates, Sasha herself says nothing has changed between them. So I really struggle to understand why it‘s such a drama that they‘re training separately if it helps them both be more at ease.
It might have also been a measure to avoid any problems, not neccessarily a response to any pre-existing problems between them. As some say, if you build strong precautions, you save yourself timely and costly repairsI don't think they adapted anything. Sorry, as I said in my original post, I just seem to recall it, I am not able to remember what article it was or who and when posted a link to it. No way I can browse thousands of posts to find it now. Anyway, as I said, it is just an impression, I might be wrong, I might be right, I don't think it matters much now anywaycan you link that article? I don't recall him commenting on that, perhaps I've missed it.
Yes, I can remember too. A hundred percent. Also at allskaters.info Rozanov was not named as Sasha's but as Alёna's coach.Sorry, as I said in my original post, I just seem to recall it, I am not able to remember what article it was or who and when posted a link to it. have you ever seen Kolyada on practice? With Valentina he popped an insane amount on practice, its actually remarkable that he was anywhere near as good as he was. His practices were even worse than his competitions half the time. He needs the phycological help to succeed, and Mishin is the best Russian coach to offer this.
EDIT: - I can't even remember how we got on the topic of Kolyada in Ladies figure skating. But here is an interesting interview from his coach at the time: https://fs-gossips.com/valentina-chebotareva-big-sport-shouldnt-start-too-early/
when she said "He jumps it perfectly in practice" what really usually happens is at the 6th/7th attempt he jumps it perfectly (at least at competition practices)
Which is normal because:Yes, I can remember too. A hundred percent. Also at allskaters.info Rozanov was not named as Sasha's but as Alёna's coach.
Yay!!Nugumanova and Talalaikina will be competing this weekend, it's on the Saint Petersburg fed's Instagram story. I'm excited to see Liza, she's always been a sentimental fave of mine!![]()

Actually, I think Zhilina had most of her triples before going to EteriWhat I’m saying is that the team is always improving. Nika’s Lutz was trained by Team Eteri, there was a progress, right? Why do you think she got her lutz clean as soon as she entered Plushenko’s school? So ridiculous.Meanwhile, Sergi’s coaching experience is gained in Team Eteri, his techniques are from Team Eteri. Why not think dialectically?
I don’t want to criticize any team, coach or athlete. No one is perfect. In this case, I think experience is important. Apparently, Plushenko is lack of coaching experience. That’s all I can say. I’m looking forward to his progress.
Btw, if you don’t think Team Eteri is improving. Please explain why Anna, Aliona, Sasha, Kamila, Akatyeva make their techniques better and better?
I don’t like any arguements about who is best or worst. I just want to see every team improve their techniques and choreography. And fortunately, they are making progress.
I think it will work as long as the coaches doing the main grunt work with the skaters are fine playing second fiddle to the "main coach".For some reason, some people consider it a problem that two top athletes belonging to the same group do not train together, like Tutberidze's. I see that the AP has followed the path of the Viner Academy in gymnastics, where each top athlete has his own individual coach, but they all have one head coach, Viner. A time-tested path that gives results. What is the problem?![]()
It was her mother that taught her that wonderful technique. Nothing to do with either coach. Most skaters get their basic technique from their foundational coaches. Which is why the whole Eteri teaches "blah blah"technique or Plushenko teaches "xyz" arguement is a waste of time.Actually, I think Zhilina had most of her triples before going to Eteri
