Seems that people should be finally explained that Mafia is the name of the cat in once pretty popular hungarian TV animation series "A Mézga család különös kalandjai", in english "Fantastic Adventures of Family Mézga" ;) (it could be very loosely compared to TV series like Simpsons or Futurama).

If Anna's fan of those TV series, the more I am fan of her because I absolutely love it since childhood.
 Mézga család was the best!

I probably should have reported your post as body shaming.
But I didn't want the intelligent responses of the people who quoted your post to disappear as well.
If I was body shaming Anna, I'd be doing it to myself. Yes, I did notice her weight gain from puberty. Not everyone is extremely healthy and thin.
I know how easy it is to twist something without muscles holding it in place. I know how easy it is to get sick without eating a little extra when you stay up.
Anna isn't a normal girl like me, but a top athlete. I can't help but think a bit more then minimum required weight/muscle could help with illness/injury prevention/recovery.

The 4T+3T that Sasha landed in test skates looked easy too (even easier, maybe). Sasha's other 4T had a hand-down, but the air position was alright. 4Lz fell because she was a bit forward on landing. Kamila's landed 4T was good, but other 4T was too off-axis to save from falling.

Based on their past quad attempts, I think Sasha might be more likely to save a non-ideal jump with a 3-turn/step-out/hand down compared to Kamila (but of course if she attempts more quads/3A she would have a higher likelihood of falling). Agree that 1 successful quad would lose against 3, although I think Sasha and Kamila would be fairly evenly matched if they went with their test skate layouts (IMO a well-executed 4Lz might outweigh spins/favourable PCS, based on men's events). Hoping that both skate clean as possible so we can find out!
It should be really interesting. I think you're right since I checked and the difference between their FS is the -2T from Valieva with a solo 3Lo, while Sasha has a -3Lo and a 4Lz. 10 points difference in BV alone.

I saw it in my own eyes when he is holding from ponytale during jump multiple times.
What? :D
When and where this happened and whose ponytail was he holding?
Are you training in his group?
How girls jump If someone is holding their ponytails? Sounds like Rapunzel figure skating. :D

Great to see Shulskaya added to the competition! She was a wonderful surprise last season. I think she will fight for 4th or 5th place.

This is bad news for Talalaykina though. I have her down at 7th now and she needs to finish higher.

Does the layback spin have a higher base value than the combination spin or other spins? I’m curious because why is evgenia doing it again? I thought the layback was no longer required in junior or senior ladies starting in 2015/16 season but maybe I’m wrong?

Off the top of my head (I haven’t checked the rule book lately, so please don’t be mad if I’m wrong) layback spins have a higher base value than sit and camel spins. However, combo spin, change foot combo spin, flying change foot combo spin, etc have a higher base value than a layback. In a freeskate you can only to two combo spins, Zhenya does changefoot combo and flying changefoot combo. The third spin needs to be in a single position.
With GOE it would be better to do a really good sit or camel spin than a shaky layback so I don’t know why TAT (or whoever) would push Zhenya to do a spin that is dangerous for her and wouldn’t even help her score.
