1. For the +Toeloops she usually does a clear edge change into the jump. Though I'll say I don't remember if this is a TP rule to *invalidate* it or not, but it needs a severe deduction. It's actually quite harmful to the ankles.

2. For the +3S she usually distributes too much of her weight onto the right foot. This is a judgment call the TP needs to make, but this was quite bad here.

It should be reflected in GOE. So, if a judge thinks that the change of edge is that severe, the combo will get +2 GOE instead of +4 GOE

I´m in the category that doesn´t understand why people dislike Kamila´s Bolero. I like it, and I like the tiny details they´ve added since test skates. I really like the program, and the SP is essentially my favourite this season. Poor thing was so stressed and scared from the beginning

I´m so hyped about Daria! Her current level is the level of JWorlds and I can´t wait to see more improvement! I was so sad seeing her, and also Kamila soo sad in their interviews. Also, the difference performance-wise was kinda like day and night between her and Sasha, but I´m glad Sasha´s trying this and I think it can work for her too.

Imo Daria should´ve had the highest PCS today and I´m quite bothered that both Sasha and Kamila were above her. Sasha had mistakes and was higher, and uhmm Kamila having the highest PCS with a few serious mistakes is disappointing. Dasha wuzrobbed for sure in that.

I kinda think that Sasha should´ve received an E on both flips yesterday and today, not just a ! .

Overall, I think Dasha should´ve been second, even though she botched the last spin. I´m sure she´s beating herself up over it and I wish her to be able to let go of it soon. <3

Anna Frolova is sooo lovely. I think she was robbed in PCS compared to the others. Congrats on making nationals!

BTW junior ladies tomorrow will be without much drama (no TT nor PA skaters), which is pretty unusual during the last events. I'm sad we won't see Adeliya, though

I will probably root for Berestovskaya and Zakharova.

also, why hasn‘t Osokina been at any event so far? She looked pretty prepared at test skates. Hope she didn‘t get injured later or something like that...

Bolero works for me in pairs, when there is interplay between the two partners, but with even Valieva’s gentle skating around the rink to the repetitive tune, in the middle of a wide, wide empty space, it gets so monotonous and boring and just drips on the nerves like a faucet that was not turned off.

My impression of Valieva's and Usacheva's FS programs were that they were setup to be programs for them to grow into and use for 2 seasons. My issue with Valieva is that her face does not change during the program, it's like they give her a shot of botox before she goes on ice.

I sure hope not.

With Kamila, I can see how it would be to set her up for the Olympic season, though I think the program is a huge miss for her and I would assume that if that was the plan, it’ll probably change. It’s very sloppy choreographically, she’s not executing it well, and there’s basically no interpretation going on (How could there be, though? What is the music? What is the choreography?)

With Daria, her program is just a standard Daniil program and nothing special to me, I would hope it’s not going to be her Olympic season program. I hope they will be more thoughtful with her programs next season. I understand they’re trying to distinguish her from other Eteri girls (namely Evgenia and Anna, as I think she has many similarities to both), but I think it’s working against her.

Those eyebrows, though, they‘re killing me. Also, everytime I see Plushenko I want to scream at him to pull that mask over his nose. That‘s something TeamTut have won this week - responsible mask wearing. And I‘m sure they‘ll win everything at the next stages, Nats, Euros, Worlds etc. again. So, don‘t worry, they‘re fine. Today was an anomaly, not the rule lol.

Completely agree - 1 thing we can say about Russian ladies coaching they certainly aren't short on egos. The Fed should step in on the flaunting of the coaching "drama" especially because I think someone posted on here that the Fed got some grief for lack of enforcement of the masking but then today 1TV is showing a coach flat out not attempting to wear his mask correctly.

Kamila or maybe Dasha should definitely skate to pavane pour une infante defunte! It would be a nice change to see them skate to romantic orchestral (or piano if you want to go that route) music instead of more dramatic things for Dasha and more contemporary things for Kamila.

I reckon they could do with sacrificing a few transitions in Valieva's programme to help stabilise the jumps. Her two lutzes both had the same problem (rushed takeoff, broke at the waist). The first 4T also looked kind of rushed. She has loads of other stuff going on in the programme, they can afford to slow down/simplify the jump entries just a bit to calm her nerves.

I'm sorry, I am one of those people who can't stand Bolero. I am sooo tired of it! It's like listening to YMCA by Village People. The horror!

Honestly after a minute or so, it starts to get on my nerves. And I love almost all classical music, but there is something about Bolero that becomes annoying.

On another site all the plushifans are celebrating the falls of Valieva and regretting that she did not fall more times to make Plushenko's victory over Eteri even more glorious ... Where are those who said the Federation hated Trusova, today she fell 2 times and He got more than 160 points, in an international tournament he does not grab or podium, falling twice in front of Korean and Japanese.

There were abject 'plushyfans' shouting 'fall' to Usachyova in the stands too. But one never knows if these were hired by Rudkovskaya ....

I don't think they had an option but to show him when they were showing all the other coaches.

What the Fed should do is implement a "punishment" for coaches that fail to follow guidelines - they get 1 warning to put their mask on, the second time someone has to come up to them its to escort them out of the building; any competitions that follow they do not get a warning, the first time they fail to follow guidelines they are escorted out of the arena.
