A reporter from TASS said on his insider Telegram channel that Zhenya can go to Rostelecom Cup and the 5th stage and still qualify for RusNats and this apparently applies to Stepanova/Bukin, Sinitsina/Kazalapov as well.
But the situation is different .. S/B andd S/K will be 2 or 1... Zhenya probably will not .. so unless RussFed said that who participate in RCup will have a free pass .. I'm worry
I still hopping for her to go the 4 stage ... she needs competition ( well she is with eteri so maybe she already have competition enough)

Wonder if she could qualify to Nats if she only competed SP at Rostelecom. If she’s not completely healed/ready, I hope they look into these options, if even they aren’t ideal.

what happens if she misses competing the whole season? is she off the national team? where will she have to compete next season?

I agree. She doesn't look healthy and she's way too thin. I'm worried.
Recovery does not happen overnight or with a snap of the finger. It takes time and happens step by step. Maybe we should not overanalyze her body in every photo and expect her to look like her old self in a span of a day. In our World girls' bodies are constantly scrutinized, let's not add to that toxcity.

It isn't about toxicity, it is about worrying about someone who seems to be losing more and more weight every time you see her. And about a problem that could be life or death if it isn't addressed. And often it must be people outside of a person's inner circle who must address this and make sure there isn't a life threatening problem.

Posting dozens of "You are too thin" "You look unhealthy. You don't look good" comments under someone's social media is not worrying about someone, it is actively harming someone. These type of comments are harmful especially for people who have a past with EDs, those type of comments can trigger attacks and can cause a downward spiral. Any ED therapist or person who has struggled with EDs can tell you that. People do not realize what harmful language they use in their daily life that can cause someonelese's ED to be triggered and it is most often those people who "worry" who do the most harm, because they use the wrong language. You can express your worry about someone without attacking or scrutinizing their body or using negative words in association with their body.

Zhenya has been struggling with her injury for a long time now, it is obviously stressing her out and she is in pain, let's not forget that. She has a medical team around her who help her to recover from that. Someone's back does not magically heal over night, nor does the stress magically disappear over night. It is good that they are taking things slow. Posting those type of comments won't help her, it will harm her more and will stress her out.

Well, you‘re right in a way which is why I haven‘t said anything about the matter until now. And I certainly would never go to her instagram and comment something negative.

But... I can‘t help it. I see pictures like that and I get scared.

Especially since she‘s looked better before:

Her cheeks/colour are different here, I was relieved seeing it. But Zhenya‘s had injuries - and back injuries - before and never has she looked like that. Not even in her worst times. It‘s just... I know I‘m not involved and it‘s not my business but I‘m her fan and I‘m scared for her. Acting as if I thought everything was alright would be downright lying. So, I feel like I have two choices: withdraw completely and not comment at all or comment honestly. I usually try to do the first but sometimes I can‘t and I really can‘t blame others who feel the same. All of us here worry for Zhenya - none of us will go and harass her on instagram. It‘s a sensitive topic, sure, but something is happening to her and it‘s not good. Imo, that‘s just reality. It‘s not pretty but that‘s the way it is. I think we should prepare ourselves for not seeing her in competition for a long time. She needs to heal.
