It's definitely not the first national championships with one or more medal contenders missing. I can assure you it will still have slightly higher level than our local Four Nationals

Of course this will not be a ridiculous event. The only thing that is ridiculous is people who don't accept the results.

Varvara Kisel fell on her 3A and it was supposed to be a combo, so not good 48.67 points (26.41 + 23.26 -1.00)
Elizaveta Osokina did good with 67.95 points (38.15 + 29.80) StSq was only 2.
Karolina Kogan more modest 43.50 (21.16 + 23.34 -1.00)

She just looks tired. She isn't wearing makeup and if you are pale and don't put on makeup it is normal to look tired in photos. I certainly hope no coach is entering skaters who aren't healthy enough to compete.

Paramonova (2008) is in the lead with 66.21, but the name of the day for me has been Sofia Shifrina (2009) from Snow Leopards. She's 2nd with 63.33.
Next up: Lyubov Rubtsova (2009) from TeamTutbridze maybe in 3 minutes. The practise group is on the ice.

Elizaveta Osokina is the one to look at in this competition. She's got so much drive and energy. Makes sense if you know who's working with her.
