I'm not expert enough to judge the reports coming out from the practice but it seems like - for his first skate on shared ice since March! - it went well.

Omg I hope it's the Queen song!!!!! It would kind of be like something in-between Let's Go Crazy and Parisian Walkway, which I'm totally down for. And going back to the traditional Japanese instrumental...just YES. He seems like he's in a really great spot mentally and in control, which makes me feel less nervous for the year.

Wow, I hope this is it!...it is truly unique. Such a captivating blend of Japanese and European, with both a grand and ethereal feel...I know it's a specific soundtrack with its own story but to my uninformed ear it sounds like the soundtrack to an epic outer space saga, one that contains adventures but also tugs at heartstrings. The sequences, harmonies, and lush orchestral washes of sound, with the soaring melodies and grand percussion at just the right moments...just EPIC EPIC EPIC! I'm amazed I've never heard this piece before, it's so emotionally moving. I will seriously cry this week if he skates to this...almost crying just listening to it.

The Kitaro piece is lovely, but from the comments, it is from a movie about Vietnam, not Japan? I do think Yuzu will have chosen something specifically Japanese: I think the other one you suggest is a great possibility (and gorgeous)

We'got the final answer, Fuji has showed some parts of run-through and he was skating to this piece!!!
Amazing!
Impressed at how the Twitterverse ID-ed the music just based off scant details and before practice footage was released.
