Just a hiccup on the 3T. That thing is getting pesky; she had issues with it last season too. She was super nervous and hesitant, but she still managed to snatch off a few wigs!

Rika was hesitant today. After all it was first competition of the year...I love Rika. I don't like Benoit's choreo but the song is great and Rika has really become a great competitor.. Even when she isn't at her best.. She gets it done. Love my girl....

Great 3A, but honestly was underwhelmed. Maybe I'm too much in love with my darling's FS but it overall didn't feel like it matched her style. It could be that it's not polished enough yet since it is her first time doing it in competition setting but... I don't know, it felt off for me.

Great lutz. This music is so intense but she is crushing it. Step sequence looked a little slow though, maybe it was me.

It's...interesting, it's taking away Rika's 'personal' features (I always have a sense that Rika skates with her own personal traits). But it's not too much of a Benoit's program...perhaps because it's still novel?
