It was elegant and polished in a way that Eteri specializes in, I think. I doubt she’ll be ready to compete at the top level in just 3 months. Not even sure if that’s in her plans. I think she’s just slowly getting back into form, and she’ll compete when she’s ready, but she won’t rush to compete in any competition.

I am sure they are taking things slow and observing along the way if she is in shape enough for a competition. Apparently RusFed plans to hold 3 more competitions between February and March. Maybe they will train and look how fit she is and if she is fit enough send her to a comp in Feb/March or just prepare for the next season.
I am sure the gala today was what Zhenya needed to raise her spirits. Zhenya said before that the galas this New Years and Christmas are important for her in order to have a small goal to work towards. Cannot wait to see clips of her at Averbukh's show. I hope we get some fancams.
Also Zhenya accomplished her small goal. She wanted to land at least one jump at RusNats and she did

That hydroblade was what really caught me by surprise; I loved it, and then she did a backwards skid spiral right after it, my favorite move of hers. Finally seeing her on the ice again was like finding water in the desert.

I'm watching it. If someone asks her a question in English she answers in English . So it's great to watch .Zhenya is live on team moonbears insta not sure what she is saying but she seems happy
