Yeah, the SP isn't till Saturday and it would have been later in Toronto so I don't blame him for skipping it! Needs to pace himself!

Just caught up on the ladies, forgot w/all the covid protocols there'll be no skaters in the kiss and cry, (and obvs I completely understand), so sad we won't get a tracy & jason repeat of last year's Nats K&C!!

It's also fairly standard Jason practice to skip at least one session on the first day. I think he did it at Nationals last year too, and look how that turned out. ;) Stay calm, Jasonites!

I did finally look at the clock after this and realize Jason is typically training on EST which put that session after midnight for his body clock! Wise choice to rest up, I’m just so excited to see these programs I can hardly wait!

He also did it at Detroit in 2019. I remember being so worried when Jackie tweeted, No JB at this practice.

ETA: I wish Jason would go back to wearing his bright-colored shirts so he would stand out.

oh my actual frigging god that was amazing. the DETAIL!!!! that one jump in the middle, i thought he was gonna do a backflip, honest to god. so so sooooo excited to see this SP in all its glory.

also the haircut looks great!!

I'm with you on the nerves. Not planning to watch the warm-ups or the competition live today, but I'm tempted to take a quick look at the WU just to see the costume. :)

That choreography in the long is amazing! It's packed with interesting movement. Are we sure Rohene didn't have a hand in it? :LOL:

Maybe Ro did! Or David has just figured out what looks good on Jason. Most of those moves weren't there at ISP. It was pretty empty. Practice today was good. He did a partial runthrough of the SP without music. 3A was a little wonky at first, but then was good. He looked relaxed and ready for competition. Sparkly black shirt and plain black pants. Don't know if that's the costume or not. Maybe other pants? I will be watching. My nerves will be on full display.

I love Jason in black. But it's easier to spot red or orange!
