It's not correct at all. No such thing has been proposed, nor wanted to be proposed. You are making a false assumption, seemingly in part because you are upset that Bianchetti displaced a Russian from their position.
It's hardly upsetting for me that Lakernik was "displaced" to the chair of the ISU vice-president who oversees the whole world FS.

Once again you give no reasoning whatsoever, you only quote something irrelevant. Her interpretation is nowhere close to outstanding, and it's a bastardization of music and movement to hold it up as such
blah, blah, blah
Valieva's Bolero is absolutely beatiful, it combines technical difficulty, balletic choreography and incredible musicality. It's unprecedented in the world FS.

I don't think that everything unexpected and wonderful "belongs in the realm of fairy tales".
"Everything unexpected and wonderful" certainly not. The miracles we are talking about, however, belong with absolute certainty to the "fairy tale" or "faith" category.

You simply don't understand sinus. When Blades of Passion speaks, it is the objective truth. It is not a mere mortal "opinion" like yours, it is the Divine Truth. Frankly, there can be no "opinions" aside that. Kamila's Bolero sucks, Anna's lutz is horrid and there was absolutely nothing wrong with Sasha's flip edge in the short. And that's that!

Considering how Blades of Passion talks for instance about Rika Kihira, it shows up that the judges are simply amateurs all around the world, beside the only expert of course :)

Again you give no real analysis of the skating at all and completely ignore all reasoning and actual examples that have been presented. You say the program has incredible musicality (it doesn't) without being able to give a SINGLE example of how her skating is musical, how it is actually moving to the music and interpreting it. LOL at even throwing in the basic "balletic choreography" phrase. Let me guess, you're also one of the people who thought Zagitova's Don Quixote was the best display of ballet on ice, despite her clearly lacking form in many areas.

It's actually embarrassing to call this Bolero "unprecedented". The only thing unprecedented about it is that she added Quads into her repertoire of chosen random movements that were used to mostly ignore the music and plow right through it as if anything else was playing. This is like calling the mediocre (and that's being generous) Aladdin remake an "unprecedented" movie because it made a lot of money. Just no.

Oh, and I see people are also writing further ridiculous straw-man statements, when I'm far from the only person who has been saying this about the program. Clearly, you would prefer to be stuck in a bubble.

That's not good if the technical chairman doesn't know the difference between a flip and a Lutz. :dbana:
To be fair, when i watched her first performance this year it looked to me that her intention was to jump a lutz (instead of flip), i mean thats how her entry into the jump looked to me.

You really believe a Lutz is done with a Mohawk entry? :scratch2:

Example of what? The whole program is an example. It's piece of art, full of of Maurice Béjart and Maya Plisetskaya reminiscences.
Sharp arm movements portraying two stinging snakes with red tongues. Fast and tense Bolero rythm full of complex elements and transitions without a single pause. Precision and grace of every movement perfectly matching the flow and character of the music. Even every finger movement is polished. Fantastic spiral in the choreo sequence. Crescendo of the fierce step sequence, mind-boggling last spins, and the finishing attack of two arms/snakes just kills it.

As Johnny Weir said:
"One of my personal favorites from the Russian National Championship is newcomer Kamila Valieva who landed two amazing quad toeloops
in her free skate, but she combined it with incredible style, grace, extension, musicality."

One must be absolutely blind or ignorant not to see how phenomenal this program is.

I will repeat it one more time. I didn't say such thing will be proposed or wanted to be proposed. Read what you answer for. In that discussion I said Bianchetti "would rather implement an Artistic Program without any jumps at all than allow quads in SP". That's my opinion about his and his mother's agenda. Comprendo?

I cant find a video now. I think her flip entry was similar to Zhenya's flat lutz jump. She changed the entry a little bit in her last competition. Probably she is working on her lutz edge. Also, keep in mind that is not only one person who is sitting in the tech panel. It must be at least two of them seeing the same thing.

Vladimir, I'm just going to straight up say you're wrong instead of going through the usual process.

A Technical Committee member should absolutely know better than to mark that Flip as a Lip. And he should absolutely know better than to mark that Flutz as Lutz. It's entirely obvious from how she skated into those jumps what she was actually jumping.

I'm not saying i am right, actually when i watched a slow mo i saw her edge changed from a lutz to a flip edge. But in a real time i thought her intention was to jump a lutz. That's all. And its not like one skaters take off is always the same. It can change from the competition to the competition.

LMAO. You still can not give a SINGLE example of how her movements are in time with the notes and textures of the music! Please, pick any 10 second segment that showcases the musicality. Anything! Link a section of the program and describe why you think the specific movements used were a good interpretation of those specific notes of music. You are just using empty adjectives and again trying to point at another pull-quote reaction as if that is relevant to the discussion.

You could also respond to the segment I linked and counter-argue why you think it's actually good interpretation she's doing there, rather than skating through the music.

And you are still completely wrong. There has never been any signaled preference for having a no-jump program rather than a SP where a quad is allowed. None. You're just making false assumptions and trying to spread a slanderous lie.
