He is so incredibly fit and strong! I can't even believe he can do all those laps on one foot! His manager seems like he is a lot of fun. Bonus moment -- lying on ice in red jacket!!!!...I noticed how fast he looked in that one You Tube where he and Toro are running in the gym!
Glad to see Toro looks a little more peppy and happy in that video and that she is eating better now. She looked kind of depressed in that one video -- like she was moping around and missing her friend Emma. Maybe she has fun at doggy kindergarden with the other dogs.

I'm worried that Toro is suffering from separation anxiety. It's good that she is going to training to get a little attention.
That one leg training made MY hip hurt. Was waiting for him to switch to the left leg but noooooo.... he has one tough core.

Well of course. Hoomans give her attention and toys, while Cashew does not. I want that cat! 
My dog has that same "piggy" toy (without the mane).... it makes fart noises.
Also, thanks liv for pointing out the auto-generated English translation. I didn't know youtube had that kind of translation capabilities to convert "hard-embed" subtitles to any language, I thought it has to be actual text in the subtitle box.

Yay first time we got English subtitles in Emma’s video! I wonder who did the editing. Maybe Sho’s English lessons with Mr. Manager have come to fruition sooner than we expected.

Before I saw this translation (thanks for the translation & bringing it here), there was chatter on twit questioning if Shoma mentioned Challenge Cup.
So, now that I see that he did mention it along with uncertainty about Worlds, I checked the CC website and as of today, it is still going ahead Feb. 25-28 and has a definitive health management checklist for competitors and their teams. No audience. We will see.

I don't know though, anything other than a bubble seems risky, and I'm sure this isn't considered a bubble. I am sure Shoma would love to skate at Challenge Cup if it seems safe to do so. I guess there's no audience. Boo hoo. That competition was really a fun one for Shoma fans last year.

Yes, that is the doc I read. It seems 'bubble-like' (except for arriving a week ahead of time) in that everyone has their own entrance, can't walk around the venue and must stay in hotel and take meals there going only to the rink and nowhere else and test, test, test and masks. But, there is a 30 participant minimum for the singles event by a certain date and if that is not met, the event will be cancelled. If they get that number before the cut off and the number goes below 30 before the competition, the event will go ahead. Would they get 30? Team Champery would def go if it's deemed safe. But, wouldn't their feds have to allow it?
Just freewheeling it here about a chance to see them skate knowing that any event is tenuous at best.

I read the safety measures for the Challenge Cup and I like that they require negative tests to enter Netherlands and then they will test the arrivals again once they're in the hotel. It's not a guarantee but it's a good measure. And it is "bubble-like" if not a complete bubble. I think the 30 entries requirement will be interesting because there are plenty of competitive skaters based in Europe, but the question is whether they want to risk it and enter the competition.
The interesting thing about Netherlands is that they just held a speed skating competition in Heerenveen this January. Joosep Martinson was there to take photos. I don't think there are any COVID cases linked to that competition so far (and hopefully there will not be any).
But yeah, on one hand, if the Challenge Cup really is happening, it's a good opportunity to skate and compete for Team Champery. Den Haag is reachable by car (even though it will take around 10 hours). On the other hand, the risk is still pretty big, and Worlds will be just one month away by then. Team Champery is 1/3 of the Japanese singles Worlds team...
