Not a 3A-3A but Misha did do a 4T+3A in the warm-up.
Yuzuru had the famous 4T-3A (totally undervalued) in his Origin program at the 2019 Worlds. Alas due to it being a +seq it lost 25% of its value, I believe.

https://youtu.be/GJ799TyGYxM - at 3.20 (sorry can't link directly on mobile).

I remember thinking he must have won after that I was trés disappoint he did not 😅

Thanks for those. Good to watch that. Wow! Yuzuru is remarkable whatever he does.
I didn't watch World 2019. That was season I found it impossible to watch anything live, my heart couldn't take it, but in Ladies, for me, ot culminated in the best of outcomes I had dared not hope for, a quad for Elisabet AND a crown for Alina.

Moskvina was the best judge and Tarasova the worst judge. No surprise there!

Shcherbakova getting 6.0's from everyone for a two-footed 4F landing and clearly underrotated 1Lo is...not a surprise anymore, I guess.
You nitpicking a 5-jump combo with 4F, 3T, 3Lo and 3S when most skaters would be happy to land a 4x-2T combo is... not a surprise anymore, I guess.

You could remember it's not an actual competition right, so URing an Euler(not 1Lo) is of very little concern in my opinion. These shouldn't be graded like GOE. Otherwise you'd have a 4T-2T done completely cleanly scored higher than a combo like this, which just about no one in the world could even perform at any level(or close to this). And the 2-footed landing, the pick just scraped the ice as it was coming up, it was a very minor flaw if anything. Anna often has the pick scrape like that on completely steady landings, I wouldn't even consider it a 2-foot landing.

It was truly a figure skating festivity, everybody having fun while presenting the most complicated elements and with some minor corrects here and there it may become annual commercial success. The atmosphere reminded NBA All Stars Game a lot, I bet with after-covid full arena it would've been even better! Russian fans apparently love their figure skaters.

LOL, a truly corrupt response. Someone makes 2 major errors on their combo (in addition to already have 'q' amount of rotation on the 4F and 3S) and your response is that it's nitpicking to not give a 6.0...you actually just don't care about people being scored fairly.

Shcherbakova is incapable of doing a fully rotated 4X+2T combo, so she herself would be happy to land such a thing in competition, if the judging was actually accurate and scored these jumps more realistically.

I wouldn't mind it coming back! I want the next competition to be to connect all six types of jumps (the most difficult version they jump) though. So Anna, for example, would need to connect 4Lz, 4F, 3Lo, 3S, 3T, and 2A. Points for creativity, so that we don't just see people tagging a 2A at the end lol.

I know this is probably going to start some fights, but I just watched Evgenia’s and Alina’s exhibitions, and Evgenia looks in good form! I was pleasantly surprised, and I can tell that she is more focused on competition than Alina. Alina’s choreography involved many more cross-overs and a couple mistakes. Congrats to both though!

I'm sure you're joking but I hope he doesn't! He has to focus on Nika Z and Sofia Titova!

But they've never done that before, the top two eligible skaters have always been picked to go and if there's a third spot then the Coaches Council comes into play. I just wonder if the skaters knew about the change in procedure, because otherwise it'd be like the rug being pulled out from under you.

Yes, I have to work on that, but at the same time it was a personal attack on T/M, Vladimir especially gets accused of having no personality whatsoever, I follow his Insta and he does laugh, have fun and hug dogs just like all our favourite skaters. I just found it really nasty to act like he was some sort of robot with no feelings, like I don't know, people think it's a funny thing to say, but how saying someone doesn't have basic human emotions is funny is a mystery to me. He's got resting serious face like a lot of people, cut him some slack.
Yes he needs to focus on Veronika and little Sofia and the Sofia that made the podium at Junior Nationals. But I wasn't joking about SS she can already jump quads and 3A.

I was disappointed for VZ. She's spectacular but I don't know what they can do to make her more consistent. That has to happen.

It’s just a goddamn fun game

Yes, but if you're having judging at all then at least try to have some semblance of legitimacy to it. Heaven forbid someone only get a 5.9 for doing a flawed element. It's not like she was the only person doing the Quad-Triple-1Lo-Triple-Triple...and someone else actually did it cleanly, before her. Hmmm.

I think you're just overthinking it a bit. She did a combo, they were all impressed, and gave it a 10 like she was in DWTS. We can join our hands and pray for a Justina Machado win, but Kaitlyn Bristowe took it anyway, because she's most popular ;) I'd complain more if it were the Prix de Lausanne or Blackpool.
