Well, that's going be hard to do on this forum.I asked you to check with a Russian speaker who is not into figure skating. Sounds pretty objective to me. I mean I don’t really know how that is trolling?![]()

If you go back to my post about shadiness, facts and objectivity you would have the answer to your questions. You are misquoting what I saidOnce again I'm asking you because it was you and not "a russian speaker" who came here claiming he is stating facts. Either you can prove you are stating facts or you can't. What you show is clearly escaping the question because you clearly can't defend your argumwent at all. You are responsible for your claims, not "a russian speaker". You lost.
As for the rest, audience award has absolutely nothing to do with that. In particular disciplines in two of them the "team first" competitors won the first place (Stepanova/Bukin, Misha Kolyada), in two the "Red Machine" competitors won (Tarasova/Morozov, Kamila Valieva). As was pointed out if the scoring system was done as at the olympic team competition or WTT are evaluated the Red machine would have still won. BTW defending your position based on fragmentation of the competition is like saying after the hockey match that "Canada may have won, but USA scored more goals in first and second period so they actually won." Again, no value.
So, back to the true facts. One team captain is very annoyed about the results and makes that clear publicly. The rest is how each of the interested people sees that.
Pushing the conflict to the limit and testing how far the "fans" can go won't end well...It’s actually very smart. Who doesn‘t love a friendly conflict? Haha
Well I mean don’t people have friends who are Russian? Co workers? I don’t think it is hard to doWell, that's going be hard to do on this forum.
Because it came down to 126 points, Daria would have had to epically fail for Team Red Machine not to win. In fact I can't imagine any circumstance where Daria could have got 125 unless she completely forgot how to jump. How is that someone's presence had no effect on how either team went, when every point counted into the total number.
Sure if she wants, I certainly wouldn't come here and spend 20 comments calling her a sore loser.Should Alina then rant about that she had to chose last and had the weaker team?
And that is the right position.I can guarantee you that if Alina did that, I would criticize her as well.
Speaking of Alina having gained weight: While I am all for her her actually looking like a young woman and not like a prepubescent 12 year old, it does seem like she is not in good shape at all. I just don't understand why she is still going for the flip if it doesn't work 80% of the time. I have accepted her (unofficial) retirement, I would just like her to stay in some kind of shape and maybe still train loops etc. so she doesn't loose all of her jumps. I really don't want her to stick out in a negative way in the upcoming "Champion's on Ice" shows where she will be compared to Anya, Kamila and Evgenia (who I think should gain some weight...).
Should Alina then rant about that she had to chose last and had the weaker team?
It’s just some banter back and forth.Pushing the conflict to the limit and testing how far the "fans" can go won't end well...
Yes, the difference was the outcome how all the previous members of both teams skated. It was not like that the difference was set before the competition even started. All this ranting is as ludicrous as when Ross and Monica were arguing why his or her team are winning/losing. Just make a sitcom of the last several pages here.Because it came down to 126 points, Daria would have had to epically fail for Team Red Machine not to win. In fact I can't imagine any circumstance where Daria could have got 125 unless she completely forgot how to jump.
Sure if she wants, I certainly wouldn't come here and spend 20 comments calling her a sore loser.
Incidentally, there WERE all winners, Red Machine the cup, Team of Firsts the Audience Award, don't you think it was petty for Alina to deny that? She had the Cup and the glory already, but she couldn't let Zhenya have and be proud of the Audience Award? Had the situation been reversed people would be up in arms: "How dare Medvedeva trash the Audience Award like that! Alina's team was more popular with the audience, suck it up."
Anyway all this would have been avoided if not for that idiotic press conference, who's bright idea was that? They're the real villain here.

I've quoted exactly what you said. The only fact here is you are not sating facts, but your opinion based on your sympathy. That's all.If you go back to my post about shadiness, facts and objectivity you would have the answer to your questions. You are misquoting what I said

I'll go!I am not sure what facts are not actually facts.
I have and I encourage you to do the same![]()
I didn’t call it a fact.. you could go pull the post back upI'll go!
This. Because you haven't yet produced this supposed translation you possess and according to you the Russians on here don't know how to translate Russian.![]()
So you pretended to have a translation, and expect people to engage with you in good faith. OK, then.I didn’t call it a fact.. you could go pull the post back up![]()
Wow thats a lovely assumption to makeSo you pretended to have a translation, and expect people to engage with you in good faith. OK, then.![]()
Nope. She was right. Skaters didn't jump quads and viewers didn't buy their tickets for fans' votes.Incidentally, there WERE all winners, Red Machine the cup, Team of Firsts the Audience Award, don't you think it was petty for Alina to deny that?
Zagitova wouldn't have bragged about a consolation prize. So much that it should be considered equal to the real prize.Had the situation been reversed people would be up in arms: "How dare Medvedeva trash the Audience Award like that! Alina's team was more popular with the audience, suck it up."
These are the facts I stated - please don’t twist my words to fit your agenda. If any of you can refute them with facts - go ahead. I’ll stand corrected.Fact:
Team Medo - highest points in 3/4 disciplines
Fact:
the draw format was suddenly changed at the onset of the competition
Fact:
Team Medo won the Audience Choice Award
Fact:
Team Alina won the cup based on the highest scores in only 1 discipline - ladies
Is there anything that you can refute in this? I am not sure what facts are not actually facts.
Your words to a Russian, not mine.Wow thats a lovely assumption to make![]()
Unless of course, it is an "assumption" that you posted this and cannot back it up.I have and I encourage you to do the same![]()
Your words to a Russian, not mine.![]()
Yes its a fact I asked someone who is Russian and not into figure skating. I also said you should do the same.Your words to a Russian, not mine.![]()
Then you should post it, instead of telling a Russian they don't know what they are talking about as you said to dante. THAT's a fact - not what you are claiming.Yes its a fact I asked someone who is Russian and not into figure skating.
