Sorry, this doesn't really fit the pair event right now, but it's a bit interesting – Petya Gumennik said he isn't ready to go to Worlds this season, that he doesn't have the "mastery to compete at it well".

Well done to M/G! They did really well and I am very happy for them.

It may not be fair, but RF is smart to give M/G another chance. I feel that several teams could beat P/K internationally. But, M/G will be real competitors at World's. I still don't like the FP. But, Mishina works hard to try and sell it. Galliamov is just wonderful.
