Oh dear, another step sequence 2 and not a very difficult technical layout. Well, Aliona is far from her best, but she is here and tried, all kudos to her. She looks beautiful in her dress and with that hair

Seems like she wanted to play it extra safe and avoid falls rather than really going for it, which is pretty disappointing to see. Both the double jumps in the combos seemed totally unnecessary to me, she at least could have tried, especially with the Salchow.

Music good, performing not very present and quite distant, but skating did look better than in the SP, and the StSq looked better but scoring was about the same for it so perhaps I'm just being overly positive.

I like this program a lot actually. The dramatic build up for the step sequence is really nice. It suits Aliona.
