I think we should wait for a confirmation.
For instance, it has been said that Alina Zagitova was to switch to Plushenko, while it seems they had just evoked participation in shows.
Alena Kostornaia had at least one reason to go to Khrystalny : filling forms for the official coaching switch to Plushenko. She can very well have spoken with Eteri Tutberidze to try to set things right about the past.
Of course it is also possible that she has indeed asked her if she could come back.
And if she does, we may never know why. She didn't tell the whole reasons why she left Eteri Tutberidze, she only told what was true and untrue in the accusations made on her. Of course my head is full with hypothesis, either "external" or "internal".

I think you got Aliona mixed up with Nastia (Gubanova).
The pressure on these kids is unbelievable and we don't know what is true and what is not true can any of this. I would hope she would leave PA on good terms if she leaves them and that's not even official. It can't be easy growing up in front of the world.
CSKA would love to have this jewel of a skater. Rukavicin too. Aliona would immediately become the number 1 lady in either of those camps.
If she does leave PA I would like a statement thanking plushenko Academy for their work with her and accommodations-.
But I cut everybody slack in figure skating this year for their on ice performance and their off-ice performance because coronavirus has been running wild.
Good luck to Aliona. We need this young lady healthy and happy next season whoever is coaching her.
First ..I think she was brave going out there with two new programs after covid... She was good .. her 3-3 was there ( not in all but we see that is more resistency than other thing).
Now what I didn't like:
_ Change 2 programs!!! Why her Sp was good ( i even belong to the group that like the lp .. preparing for Olympics to be honest I don't know if is olympishish enough) .. so it was faill to happen
_ Plushy in the kiss and cry after the SP.. maybe talk to her make her feel good
Now about the maybe and maybe not the change of the coach ... To be honest after the K&C and the change of 2 programs ... I think plushy isn't the best choice for her .. she needs another kind of aproach.... she isn't trusova .. so I'm ok with her comming back to eteri or maybe mishin

Sorry I forgot it's not been posted here yet but I was referring to reports that she's already left AoP without telling them and Yana has already come out to say they don't anything about Aliona leaving. I understand it's been a difficult season but it would be the second time she's done this if it's true and decreases the likelihood of an amicable split.
I hope things will work out well in the end, regardless of whether Eteri accepts or not.

I think there's a fear of a teenager going up to adults in their thirties forties fifties or more and saying they're leaving.
Today if Aliona gets healthy watch out. Badd luck for plushy that she was sick this year.

When she left TeamTutberidze, we had to wait for weeks before being able to discern how she had really left. (And we still know only part of why she left.)
I think, now it is certain that she's going back to Team Tutberidze, but let's not believe all we can read about how. For instance (as I read in the thread Russian Ladies) Tatiana Tarasova has just pretended thatAlina Zagitova Alena Kostornaia had left Team Tutberidze noisily, which could not be more false, she said nothing at all and TeamTutberidze announced her departure two weeks later, to which she didn't even answer before weeks, and then, on a much lower tone. We cannot just believe everything.
I am under the impression that the wiser and the more reflexive are the skaters, young as they are, while adults around them often say nonsense.

If the insider who first broke the news said she didn’t tell Plush, but she is a friend of Yana’s then how would Plush not know? Since when is it illicit to discuss coaching matters? If the decision is tomorrow, then whoever broke the news before hand is doing Aliona a massive and unceremonious disservice.

“I don’t know anything about this” is a typical response for Gorshkov so it’s not surprising Yana also reacted like this. You really think Plushenko and Yana didn’t notice Aliona moving out of her cottage on their property? Of course everyone knows, and this was probably decided before Aliona went to Sambo to talk to Eteri today. Do we really think she would go there and risk being seen if it wasn’t already agreed to in advance?

Well, if Aliona has one great flaw, it‘s that she‘s driven by emotions and can be very impulsive. I do hope she was smarter than this, though.
What exactly were those rumours about the federation, though? I keep hearing things like that but no one ever seems to be able specify. Why would the fed be interested in her return if they have a dozen other girls ready to take the gold/medals? Technically, they don‘t need Aliona.
