those 2 times she won against an Aliona who was no where near healthy or fit, and had no triple axels. and the first time wasn't by much.

if they are both healthy like in 19/20 Liza can't beat her.
If both are healthy liza could land a quad so we don’t know and both could also make mistakes.

Alena is not at her peak anymore. Like Alina in her last competitive season.

How do we know Aliona didn't tell Plushenko? There was one news report that said she didn't tell Plushenko wasn't there? Same way there was another news report saying Aliona had been accepted back when she hadn't. Neither Plushenko or Yana have come out and said they didn't know....yet.

And the main problem with Eteri was moving outside the transfer window. Unless we expect skaters to just say buh-bye and leave into the wilderness.

She says “contracts are a responsibility of lawyers, not me or Evgeniy, he’s a coach” and that they “have a big legal team that deals with these questions”.

Though I have a hard time believing he was had 0 clue that Aliona has some legal obligations.

Well, that answers it, thanks. Should have known. Poor Aliona, this is a mess. Going against Rudkovskaya when it comes to something like this does not seem like a battle one can win.

So basically Rudkovskaya confirms Eteri and Daniil's POV... This will be messy.
I would think, it can’t be all that much. Nobody knows, but perhaps she owes something for training, for ice, for programs, since she’s leaving. Or maybe her advertising contracts demanded her to remain at AoP but that would be a very curious clause to have in any contract.

Regardless, the amounts shouldn’t be sky high, and her prize money (if she saved it up and didn’t spend it) should be more than enough to cover the bill. Right?

Basically i think all we are getting out of this is if Eteri didn't want her back none of this would be going on. it's happening.

He turned down any help for Sakhanovich, who was surviving on instant porridge and powdered coffee, but gave it all for free for Aliona. Right.

Yana has just gave an interview, saying that they’re discussing contracts with Aliona and her mom at the moment, and that the conversation is “not pleasant for both sides”, her whole legal department is involved, since they are responsible for contracts.

She should’ve read her hubby’s comment first.

Yesterday, after hearing the husband's words about no contracts or whatsoever, I felt, that this time we saw some decency, finally. Now they mention that they have a large legal department? What a couple!

I now understand Dannil's statements more. The team definitely does not want to be involved in this chaos.

I pray for Aliona and her mom. Even if they can come out of this without much financial trouble, it is a very bad experience already.

I mean I hope so. I just hope she didn't get into some crazy celebrity's legal troubles here. Her prize money + whatever funding she got from the national team should be enough, and maybe SLB will let her keep her programs pro bono? The rest (coaching and lodging apart from what you mentioned) ... IDK how much will be left over.

It all came from the same source, Lapidarnst/Tele-sport (it’s the same thing).
They were the first to break the news about her leaving, right after that Rodina woman, and they also released a whole 2 articles based on “insider info” from AoP about hysterical and lazy Aliona and Plushenko tolerating that behavior for months. Incidentally, they also were the ones to report Aliona left without notice as well. They also helped to give birth to some very nasty rumors on top of everything.

Those pieces published by them also include something like “important to note, that Aliona left AoP, not Plushenko himself!” and that “the source of information is definitely not Plushenko or Rudkovskaya” Lmao 😂

I’ve always found plushy shady. The wife is an apple not far from the tree. They have no word of honor, it turns out. Oh well. What can we expect from a man who telegraphed his withdrawal from the men segment in sochi to later feign injury when the backlash started pouring in? 🤦🏻‍♂️

Russian FS saga beats any soap opera. I would have preferred that the main characters were a couple of years older... but even though, it is fascinating. Absolutely fascination! LoL!

I dont think this is correct because this seem like it literally contradicts what his husband Plushenko just said?

The hysterical part I read. Although it wasn't for months? They said 2 weeks before the Cup Final her attitude changed. It's so easy to call a woman hysterical frankly. Her crying and showing emotions, or being irritated at not getting to try the 3A isn't hysteria in my eyes. Evgenia literally cried and was banging her head in the Eteri documentary. It's all simple emotion.

But this news about her leaving Plushenko without telling him anything has only come from one source and not been corroborated if I'm correct.
